Hi everyone! Just an update from editing Chloe here. I'm in the process of editing a week in the life vlog and a what I eat in a week video so they will hopefully be out soon :)) My law course has been extremely busy but some good news... I passed my first mock exams!! Things are as chaotic as ever but generally going pretty well x
I started Law School about 50 years ago here in the USA. Believe it or not, my experience way back then was almost identical to what you are doing now. Best Wishes from rural USA, about 100 miles from New Orleans!
I study at the Newcastle campus but the University of Law has lots of different campuses across the UK - it is possible to do an entirely online version of the course but all of my teaching is in person in Newcastle. Every campus has online exams for this course though
You can't usually do an LLM unless you've done an LLB or a PGDL law conversion course. If you do a non law degree you would need to do the PGDL law conversion
The PGDL itself is 2 terms (September to May) but you can also add a dissertation so it becomes an MA law degree, in which case it takes 12 months instead
Although I think the break from reading has done me some good - I was so exhausted at the end of my undergraduate I'd lost my love of literature a bit!
I wasn't actually studying in London (I was based in the ncl campus) so my fees were cheaper! they've also gone up now unfortunately - according to the ULaw website, the PGDL is now £13,600/year for London. UK students can get a postgraduate student loan though if that applies to you!
