In this autumn-themed 🍁 episode, we will be working on tasks for 3 hours using the POMODORO technique. That is, we will be studying in 50-min focused blocks, followed by 10-min breaks, for a total of 3 cycles. Best of the luck with your current task and let’s get it done together 💪!

As a med student this makes me so happy I’ve been putting of studying cuz I’m so drained at the end of the day but the music helps me keep so calm it’s amazing I have my big test tomorrow and I wanna thank you for making it so bearable :) I’ll become a medical professional and say the one person who helped me a lot with studying is youuuuu!!!!

I was half a semester behind in my accounting homework. (Long story short, my professor was sick, so we missed class a lot but were still expected to do the assignment as if we hadn't missed class even though we never went over the lessons for the classes we missed. I didn't know what chapter we were even supposed to be on and subsequently fell behind. Also, I'm a journalism major, so accounting is so not my thing.) I was desperate to get caught up and didn't know what to do. During one of my days of studying, I was looking for study music to hopefully keep me focused when I stumbled onto the world of STUDY WITH ME. I thought it was kinda weird and probably not helpful, but as I said, I've been desperate for anything that will help me focus. So I clicked on this video, and holy cow, it kept me so focused because it felt like I was being held accountable for my time. I am now on track to finish all the homework in the class a week before the semester ends. Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video, I have tried to use the Pomodoro technique for ages but most videos only use 25 minutes, which is too short for me and I end up getting distracted. This is perfect and I can see myself using this video many more times in the future!

When I find myself procrastinating, I use Focusmate, a live virtual co-working service. It has changed my life! You schedule a 50 min. session with 1 other person. You share what goal you have for the 50 min. and then work on those tasks with the microphone off and the camera on. At the end, you check in and tell the other person what you accomplished. Just knowing that someone is going to ask me what I've done helps motivate me to stay on task.
