Baby duck is super good because when you level up a pet, the next-tier pet they give you is always in the furthest right slot

That frog gonna go so hard you dont even understand. Just imagine you have a 50/50 bison. You buy a leopard buy a frog and boom, 50/50 leopard and your bison is right back to gaining nutty stats

If you see me with a [1/1 bison - 3/1 frog - 50/50 sloth], mind your own god damn business!

One thing ill say is certain, this pack is INCREDIBLY transformative to the nature of this game compared to the other packs. Everything else? Aint got a dang clue dude.

25:25 dont forget the pepper also allows you to have hurt triggers. Coconut doesnt allow pets with hurt abilities to activate

I can already tell the Fortune Cookie is going to drive me insane, it's way worse than bad ant or mosquito RNG because it's going to get your 50/50 killed by a 25 attack unit every time, but yours will never work.

I really like how the blobfish design is apparently under pressure so it has a more 'normal' shape, instead of all the depiction we have on the surface where it has basically exploded

Komodo will be broken for NL because he already doesn't deliberately position anything

Seems like it's the end of the 50/50 scaling era in pack 3 which I like, making more room for intricately built teams.. really cool stuff!

The best part is that these arent even all of the new animals, you can see the rest when u edit a custom pack, they just dont have their own pack yet

Frog has such strong pivot potential for mid to late game. Feeding early units like a fish and then switching its stats with a later unit with an ability that better fits the team composition is such a good way to add more team variety late game without feeling like you can't sell due to investing too much into that unit. So hyped for this pack to release.

I really love all the new art! The first two packs are all basic emojis but now they've made some REALLY cute unique animals for the new stuff.

This pack is super interesting because you can specifically tell they tried to avoid having omega 50/50 scalers and also tried to avoid summon buffing. So no matter what the pack seems really divergent and fun from a 'new meta' perspective.

I think Frog is interesting because you can be in those situations where like... you know when you have a scaling unit but he sucks? Or like when you're round 14 trying to win and you want to take a Cat for the food scaling but its base stats are so shitty compared to all your buffed up pets so you just kinda can't maybe replace your 50/50 melon armor fish? This would prevent those kinds of things from happening. You just swap the stats of the big minion with bad effect onto the new small minion with good effect and then you have a big minion with good effect!

I'm thinking (if you can make it late it enough): A Swordfish in front with a Tiger behind it. Give that Swordfish a pepper and ideally it will knockout three enemies before it faints.

Sometimes the abilities are on point. Like a Platypus turning into a duck and a beaver because people first thought it was just a prank and someone glued a duck and a beaver together is great. But often times the theming is just like what ever. I mean why does the Orangutan buff the lowest friend? There is no connection to the animal and its ability.

Nice exploration of existing mechanics. A lot of ideas are like why didn't we have this! I am impressed by the new mechanics but even more impressed by shit like "buy&sell" or "hurt&faint" it's like duh what a good idea

You could invest in Panda early, use it for the mid game, and then swap stats in the late game with the frog 🐸

donkey in front of panda in front of stego is actually a 10/10 comp. pushes the big scary front enemy back at the start of the turn and makes it miss out of enemy stego buffs. my team was two foxes stego panda donkey. I would push the enemy 50/50 to the back every turn and would one shot his whole team with my own 50/50 donkey. might need to play around this in the future if it turns out to be good tbh

Really happy with the thee additions to the game, seems like they focused more on zany pog builds rather than competitive math and I love to see it

Frog has already been moved to tier 5. Theres some other changes as well. Also, some existing pets from previous packs have been nerfed. Specifically Buffalo and octopus

A friend was teaching me how to play MTG and I did not understand it at all until I realized it was just a slightly more complicated tabletop version of SAP.

Ostrich: 'Stick your head in the ground' and forgo rolling the shop if you luckout and get all hier tier pets. Might burn some gold, but might be worth it. That seems like a fun twist on the "burn surplus gold with rolls" meta.

It took them a long time, but it looks like a quality update. I have trust.

If I understand it correctly there's another big difference between coconut and pepper: a coconut does only protect 20 damage, so if a pet with 50 attack points hits a pet with 30 or less health (with a coconut), that pet is still dead. Meanwhile, even a 1/1 pet with pepper can survive once a 50/50 attack. So pepper does also actually protect the pet from death once (if it has not been removed previously by damage). I think there could be some use cases for this scenario too.

Hammerhead will absolutely pop off. There are pets that help other pets level. If it's level 3, it generates THREE gold per turn by itself.

These devs... wow. They did not disappoint. This new pack is insane. I remember the fall guys popularity curve and it kinda reminds me of the sudden SAP hype. Only with SAP the hype will stay for a lot longer because these devs are CRACKED

This is a high IQ pack man. Just trying to think through some of the synergies is giving me a headache. Should be an absolute pog mine for months to come.

I'm really excited to use Swordfish with a Bell Pepper. You blow up an enemy unit, but your Swordfish still gets to attack once.

I haven't played yet due to the shut down but I feel like Frog Crab combo could be used to make a chonky team. As long as you have a crab in shop you could throw like 3/20 onto a 3/5 and then turn your now 3/5 crab into a 4/20.

Strawberry is blatantly op from coconut guy and shoebill alone. They gotta increase strawberry’s cost to 4

So the standard Dog is now just "unspecified canine who no-one talks about" next to the Siberian Husky... though I guess we already had Poodle. Weird.

Love that they blasted the game with content and some depth, just a slight worry this might be a bit bloated along with the two other packs. Worried you might not see a lot of repeat pets for level ups

Starfish is incredible, I had a 50/50 at the end of round 9 due to strawberry effects and buying/selling platypus. Both beaver and duck give the buff for selling and all your gold back for buying the platypus.

They are probably gonna change it but using starfish and panda is so strong. You can get an early super strong unit. Especially when you use the hamster to find all the sell animals.

technically, if you get 5 level 3 Hammersharks, you get 75 gold because you get 15 gold for each hammershark there is because of it's ability "gain 3 gold per lvl 3" and this applies to all hammer sharks. now you have 85 gold. if you really wanted to max out gold, you can give them each a grape, which is an extra 5 gold. then if you REALLY REALLY wanted to max out your money, you could sell all hammer sharks, gaining you 15 gold. now you will have the maximum amount of gold in the game, 105 gold. is it worth all of the lives you've probably lost just getting to this point? No!
