What did you do there for work?? Are you from the West or did you live near there originally? Pretty cool to be able to say you worked in a place like that.
i had a Kazakh girl friend in Antalya. She sad Kazakhstan is not good for tourists, she sad police always tried to stop you and get money from you, is that true?
@@alpbb1011no...such a bullshit, yes police check strange looking people...if dics fine so everything fine, otherwise with expired visa cant stay in Kz..illigal like anywhere else
@@richiekaylor5004 In his defense he literally says "17 year old Butchering veteran". I am no native english speaker, but from my understanding that would mean he is 17 years old and a butcher. Now I know that is very unlikely, so it probably means he has been butchering for 17 years.
@@adamr9215 No he definitely said 17 year old, but you're absolutely right. I googled him and he's at least 32 years old (couldn't find exact), so it must be 17 years of experience
Wow, despite being a Kazakh, I see this type of food for the first time , that video was interesting and informative even for Kazakhs. Love seeing you in Kazakhstan, enjoy 🙏🇰🇿
@@tildessmoo Nah, that's not how it works with nomadic countries. In sedentary yeah, distances matter, but nomad used to travel from place to place and share culture. That's why in huge area there's no dialectical difference in speech, whereas in UK, Spain, or Italy, travel for 100 miles and people might speak differently. So despite the huge distances cultural variations are not that big. The reason why we do not know is that over time people forgot the traditions and being in USSR doesn't help either, so now revival and rebirth of tradtions is happening
@@nurzhan3269 The effect of that huge area isn't as pronounced in nomadic cultures, but it's still there. I wouldn't expect Kazakhstan to have as many or as distinct regional differences as, say, the UK, but it's so huge that there's still variation, and more than a smaller country with a similar nomadic history like Uzbekistan or Turkmenistan.
Not gonna lie the quail looks delicious The cooked horse heart didn’t look bad either. Kind of reminds me of a drier-looking smoked pork brisket. I think i would try it. But i couldn’t stomach the intestines 😂
It's different than chicken heart - ok, I've never eaten horse heart, but pork one and beef one yes and it's really irony taste - similar as blood in the mouth, as Sonny mentioned. Maybe that fatty component helps to improve the flavor. 🤔
As a Kazakh myself. I will be honest with you, we only eat about less than a quarter of the stuff you showed, we actually eat. We eat more western/asian food daily than our own food. But when there is a family gathering, we do eat a lot of our own food. Beshparmak, bauyrsak, kazy.
Bekruz is a legend, totally honest doesn't try to hide his facial expressions. Would be fun to see him with sunny exploring non central Asian food, like do a France tour with him.
I’m Navajo from Arizona and sheep is used as our traditional food source. We use the sheep intestine and stomach for a lot of dishes 🙏🏽 they’re right about food bringing people together
Sonny, Bekruz you guys rock…..all the food you’ve shown us, really looked delicious…. just can’t go wrong watching your vids….. very entertaining….👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for your travel to our country! Our cousin is good and probably the best, cause there is so much protein)) I know it) Our nation is so hospitable all our guests
lmao the first time i had real hot english mustard i was thinking 'how hot can it be?' and had way too much. That stuff will hit parts of your sinuses you didn't know existed.
I love how hard Sonny was trying his best to get the mustard lady to say the tourist boom was because of the Borat film...! Good effort though bro! Lol 😂
