One of these months I will take a break from buying vinyl and try to create more room on the shelves. That month is not this month! With my shelves stuffed, here are my new vinyl finds.
Hi Gil… great stuff ! Love that Missing Persons album. I gotta try and find that reissue. Still haven’t scored the Genesis yet but it’s on my list. Great that the Marillion is now complete with that pressing. Cool you got the Asia ! I have the cd of that show that came in a boxset. Also have the dvd. It’s a fantastic sounding show ! Great John Petrucci score ! Can’t go wrong with VH2. I have a couple of those VH reissues and they sound amazing ! I have the VH1, Fair Warning, 1984 and Diver Down. I missed out on the Duran Duran. Hi Chez, that Missing Persons reissue was a great score. It's to bad about the muddy audio mix, but it's still a fun record in the collection. You'll love the Genesis live set. The songs during the Duke era sound fantastic. The live Asia was a great set. Maybe I should have gotten that boxset. It sounds killer! The live Duran Duran was a good find. You surely did stuff the shelves brother Gil. Is there any acoustic stuff on the John Petrucci album? He is a heck of a guitar player. Finally someone remastered the second VH album. A master at the mastering at that. The original sounded like Alex's drums were set up in the bathroom on the second floor. It was horrible. Such a great album too. My personal favorite from the DLR years. Top notch update King~ Rob/Boston
Hi Rob, the Petrucci album is killer. There are some acoustic guitar moments on the album. He is an incredible guitarist. One of the best out there today. The VH 2 albums sounds very good remastered. It's also one of my favorites from the DLR years. Some great songwriting on it. The original mix did sound very thin. So glad the audio has been updated and improved. Thanks so much for watching Rob!
@@kingsdrummer He is performing the album Foxtrot my favorite album. I saw him back in 19 when he toured the selling england by the pound. I am going to buy my ticket Friday. He is finally coming down here. Last time I had to go to L.A to see him.
