I have the Fendi sequin baguette and the quality is impeccable. I’ve had it for 4 years. It is an investment piece as I don’t spend much on designer bags. Maybe 2 a year. I don’t think the bag was worth $500 with all the obvious flaws it had.

Kipling makes a really fun sequin bag in baguette shape…adjustable strap and well-made. Appreciate your take on this bag, sorry it didn’t work out but appreciate that you spend your money so wisely.
Well one thing is for Sure, when you held up the Minkoff to the new bag the Minkoff was stunning in its perfection, quality and knockout looks. Maybe they have it in other colors...

Pretty color, I like the inside of the handbag. The exterior compared to the Minkoff and Longchomp, no comparison! For the price I would have expected better! Love your dogs
I have the sequin bag from Fendi in the hot pink with green inside I don’t think they even compare. Mine is absolutely perfect have used it twice and nothing has fallen off it the dream bag. Like your channel for how you hunt for bag deals…..
What a pity about the defects! It looks stunning. Hopefully you will find another on the secondary market for the lower price. Perhaps it would not keep the value so you can get it cheaper. That flaw on the strap really could be a bigger issue over time. That sort of damage can spread. It would not have mattered if you were not planning to use the strap, but with the rubbing as you wear it over the shoulder, further flaking may happen and at $500 it seems to much money for a bag with a flaw. It’s a shame that the bag had those defects because it is a absolutely gorgeous bag! The color of the fuchsia is so beautiful! And l love the style of the “buckle.” But l cannot blame you for returning it. If l spent that much money I would want it to be in tip top shape. I hope you can replace it with the identical bag because it is something to be admired!

Hello, I’ve got 2 Gedebe bags before, 3 years ago, with a different design, but also chic ones, with many crystal in the middle of the leather bag. One in gold leather other in snake black and white. They are stunning, good quality, and different from others bags when I bring them, I use to have so many compliments. The brand have future. Is a good brand.
I really like the pink sequins, don’t care for the white crystals on front. doesn’t match well . If it was plain, it would be gorgeous. Nice dinner bag. Too bad about the flaws , for full price .
This is really cute! The Fendi baguette is too overpriced so this is a good alternative. Please check out the brand Polene...they are good quality bags but very good price points. I think you will really like their style.
Love it! Also worth checking out for sequin lovers is Anya Hindmarch ‘Anya brands’ bags. Very fun, excellent quality and also priced a lot less than Fendi.

Being an Italian brand and a derivative of the creator's name Giuseppe, it would be pronounced "geh-deh-beh". The ge in Italian has the same sound as our "je" like "jelly". 😊
The sequince on the new bag doesn’t look as good at the Rebecca Minkoff bag. It’s a beautiful one, but the quality is a bit off. Disappointing, but I’m curious if you are going to keep it.
The handle and crooked seems would be a big bummer for me, at that price point 😕 what a pitty, other than these issues, this really is an extraordinarily bag.
The body of the bag is beautiful but that buckle on the front is a step too far - gilding the gilded lily, IMHO. I looked up the light green version and it's pretty and a bit more subtle, if a sequin bag can be subtle! BTW I did lose my heart to another Gedebe bag, the beige and silver Sophie shoulder bag. Fabulous, but $622 so .... nope!
Is it possible to be completely in love with a bag? Well, if it is, then I am completely in love with Fendi's purple sequin baguette! When I saw Carrie Bradshaw carry that bag all those years ago, well, let's just say the earth stopped spinning, it was love at first sight, and I immediately searched for it online! I really do hope to own that stunning bag one day! In the meantime, this is a beautiful "Inspired by" bag! I'm glad to hear the in-store versions were in better condition. The bag is pretty, but I understand your disappointment with all of the defects (for that price point) souring you on the whole thing. I’d have felt the same.
The bag is gorgeous but IMO not worth the money in the shape it's in. Taking that the tag wasn't attached to the bag and obvious faults in the craftmanship - it's probably a return.
The style is nice but it’s really nothing like the baguette, plus it’s super poorly made given the price. I would not pay over $50 considering the execution of the bag.
