Hi J Mo!! What a monk's work! 😇 😅 But what a great project. You did well to go straight with the resin. The result is splendid. ❤ This mandela is just magical, I love its symbolism.🧡 This is an achievement you can be proud of!!! 🤩 Beware of back pain always leaning!! Maybe raise the table to be more comfortable! 🤷‍♀️😍 Love your new camera system. Several angles it's just magic! 💝 A great gift for your youtube family! 🤩

The use of a paste and mica is what makes the celling. Also, if you spritz very lightly with at least 91% isopropyl alcohol it will create even more celling and lacing that are so beautiful and natural stone looking. Also, don’t forget to coat the sides! 😂

I really liked this piece. Somethings to try differently next time: you can "build" borders and pour your clear resin over the gems. Let it harden before pouring your colored resin. With the white medium for the mandala, you can use much less than you used. If you want more texture, use more before putting your paint on. It dries clear. If you need to do more detailed cleanup, use pointed q-tips. I'm no expert, but I've learned a lot from the RU-vid platform. Hope this helps. It was beautiful.

Hi, I was thinking about your arm and shoulder... maybe for smaller pours have a poured on brick or cut of 4x4 to raise arm but rest arm on to pour. But then I thought for larger canvases to build some kind of elevated frame around , lifted, bars? ...to rest arm on to pour. You build, we split the $$$ Good for people with bad shoulders or who are more unsteady. 😀 Your pours are beautiful! Jen Francis ✌❤😁

Nice piece think I would have done it the opposite way around. By doing the ring pour first let it cure. then pouring a brilliant white pattern for crystal and inlaying and building the glass onto the tacky surface. This would possibly stop the bleed. Just a thought 😊

Amazing piece! It's been a few years now, but I watched a bunch of beach/ocean wave pours, and the white that was used for the waves did create cells, especially when the artist was depicting foam. As I remember, it had something to do with the brand of white colorant that was used, since some worked better than others.
@susannedaniilidis2100
@susannedaniilidis2100 Год назад
When you use Ttanium White to color the resin and your heat gun you get those cells. It is common in the ocean wave technique.

The cells in the resin are created by the excess in heat from the heat gun (as I understand it from my own experience) along the same lines as the silicone oil in paint. I would hope you reuse your cups. 99% isopropyl alcohol helps break down resin. Also white vinegar. Less waste in the landfills.
