I was there in Aug 2014 and had a 4k Panasonic FZ1000 with me and I now really regret not filming in 4k. Stunning work guys. I am heading back in 2015 and will make sure to use 4k this time
@Kanwer Vikram there are two main religions in ladakh they are Islam and Buddhism. And there are two sects in Muslims named Imamia(Shia) and Islamia(Sunni). But some families in Leh itself and nearby villages like Shey are Christians. In Kargil district the maximum % of the population belongs to Shia sect of Islam and only few villages have Buddhist inhabitants and in contrast Leh district have larger population of Buddhist and some villages near Leh itself have scattered population of both sects of Muslims ( Shia and Sunni). But geographically half of our Ladakh is under P.O.K and the inhabitants of Pakistan belongs to Muslim religion.
dude seven wonders of the world are man made structures not natural.... and if you think himalayas are beautiful then just take a look at swiss alps...
Sandeep Nagarkoti u r right but the Himalayas are still not complete nor they ever will be they are still mountain building areas and that's for why it should be in the natural wonders of world plus Himalayas are the most recent ones Contain the highest peak on the world Mt Everest 8848 m and the second highest peak in the world and highest in India K2 peak 8611 m It is the only place consisting of all 8000m+ mountains It is a vast area comprising of the himadri, Himachal, Shiwalik, Kailash, Ladakh and Leh, karakoram and many more It consists of the char dhams and has holy places for Hindus, Buddhists in the trans Himalayas and Sikhs also It forms one of the richest river Ganga or Ganges And had many more characteristics but are neglected which I don't like.....So underrated
i appreciate your love for himalayas but though they look beautiful from far away but the life of people living near them is nothing sort of easy cause i am from Uk and the places with extreme cold and snow makes the local people living there wishing if winter never comes....
Sandeep Nagarkoti I agree with that Here's one thing that NATURE IS AMAZING It just is in the form of Himalayas or Alps and yes the people have to hold on same as those in Alps
This has to be the most stunning and transcending timelapse video i have ever seen...Ladakh deserves such a beautiful tribute...I cant wait to go back to Ladakh..again and Again...and Again....
I cannot just tell you how well made this is. I watched this more than ten times in the last week. Coincidentally Ladakh got a new status in the same while
Great work! Really enjoyed watching it, you can feel the passion and love you guys have for making beautiful things. And you have some amazing country. Thanks for the time and energy you spent and sharing.
This literally stopped my breath and brought me directly into the energy of this most holiest of places on our planet~ Thank you!! Truly breath taking!
Inspired from the unforgettable journey to the destination that you plan for every year, and might have gone as well. We curated these t-shirts to help show off your no-drama, good times vibes only! @
I had been to Leh last month. Such a beautiful place. Loved everything about it except the weather which made me feel sick. I have been watching the videos and photos I have taken of beautiful landscapes everyday which lifts up my mood.
OMAR ALI KASHMIRI lol Not all kashmiris like u i have many friends from kashmir okk they loves india its enough for me Also we love kashmir And i think u r not kashmiri
omar ali Leh has an alternate route via Manali but Kashmir has only one route via Jammu and if we Jammuties stop supplying ration through that route you will die of hunger
Knot in Focus well, I think you're missing out a trick there also compromising on a viewing experience for the viewers, the beautiful video would have looked more stunning in 4k. anyway all the very best!
Posteriser Trust us that we feel really frustrated that we are not getting to share this in 4k. But then again, this is India and copyright laws are loose. We already have so many of our images and lapses flicked from our website in the past that this time around, we had to make a tough choice.
Knot in Focus I think you're overly concerned, you could have watermarked the footage with low opacity in the corner. Anyhow you should mention "Available in 4K" rather than claiming to be 4k. I see it got shared by ScoopWoop as well. All the best!
How did you edit from 1:20-1:30? How did you get the long exposure type video from your timelapse? Is that technique called something? I cant find the tutorial.
awesome soundtrack, gorgeous ladakh. but nothing beats visiting ladakh and experiencing the region myself, definitely planning a visit soon ;) @travelling choo (Facebook)
