Man, oh man, I went grocery shopping yesteday and the stupidity has aparently gone global, the store looked like it was going out of business. Lots of areas were picked over, the bottled water was completely empty, the toilet paper was also completely sold out. I was talking to the cashier at the check out and she was telling me that people were fighting over items in the store. Hopefully the virus can kill off the idiots that panic every time the media tells them to.
This just goes to show you how strong the tools are from the media. They say "shortage of toilet paper"... everyone rushes in at the same time for a panic rush. We are like little marionettes. Theres no hope for humanity.

I honestly never thought this would happen in my own country and I feel disgusted by this behavior. 3 people over the ages of 70 have died in the entire nation or 30 million people. Stop being selfish and ridiculous. This is not they end of the world and if citizens went about their shopping as per normal there would be plenty for all. I have 4 rolls in my cupboard at home and no idea where to buy more but I'll do the best with what I've got. its worrying me that people in a 1st world nation have fallen to these lows.
They will behave this way towards food. People will be stocked for a year, wait for the truck, and stock up everything while others starve because they will have rationalized their greed by claiming they are protecting their family. The only way to thwart that it to make it not so easy for them to do so.

Obviously Australia. In Afghanistan people wouldn't be panicking over fucking toilet paper ... they'd be more worried about the true essentials of life: food, water, and a safe place where they won't get shot or bombed.
2 will not last long in a household. The problem is that people know there is a lock down coming and as it stands they do not have enough toilet paper.
@@bighands69 1 pack last us over a month, I live in a family with 2 but was living with a family of 3 and the toilet paper still lasted us over 1-2 month for a whole pack. You only poop once a day and use about 5-6 squares of toilet paper at a time. It should last you ages! how big is your family like 20 people?
@@bighands69 they obviously live in a big family because I lived in a family of 3 and the toilet paper lasted a long time, now if we doubled the number to equal 6 family members and even with toilet paper now getting used twice as fast it would still last over a month. So they must need at least 6+ family members to go through toilet paper that fast

I ran out of toilet paper a day before it 'left'- haven't even bothered to try buy any - tissues work. Had 2 boxes and still have 1 ½ of those boxes Chill people
I bought a case from Costco about 3 weeks before this virus stuff happened .Still have over half now . Some of these uncontrolled people have been buying a case or two every day . Bet you can find the same one's coming back repeatedly - that is how you know they have a problem .A lot of them are bound to get sick for sure .There has been violence over toilet paper already .
I live in the States and it's getting like that here too. Many big stores are completely sold out of TP. When you guys were going through those awful fires not too long ago, we saw footage after footage of people helping each other. Showing compassion. What the F--- snapped in these people 's heads? I admit when I caught wind of it happening here I went out and stocked up on some but I didn't buy it all or have to fight over it. I also bought food. Some to add to what I already have saved for a rainy day. Most of these people are buying nothing but toilet paper ??? 😧

I was walking down the empty 'toilet paper' aisle when staff wheeled in a delivery of it. Not kidding, no one else was in the aisle, they arrived in hordes. How they knew? No idea. It's beyond ridiculous. In hindsight I should have recorded the melee.
It’s like I’m from another country 😅 We live in semi rural coastal area and I did a large grocery shop a couple of weeks ago and stocked up as usual for our large family. Last week did a small shop noticed no tp. 🤷🏽♂️ No panic cause we still had some in the cupboard. This morning I did groceries and got the usual including the couple of weeks worth of tp. No more than I usually would 🤨 It’s so confusing wtf is wrong with these simpletons, and Guildford has a lot of home units where are storing all of it😆

I went to the store to find an empty TP shelf, but directly across from the TP was an entirely FULLY stocked shelf of tissues, napkins, etc. Why don't people just buy some of that if they can't find TP. There are creative ways to wipe your butt lol
Robert Myers Well I don't mean thick material. I use the kleenex tissues when i need to, they're as thin as toilet paper & don't clog anything. You can always rip things in half if you need to. I have no choice when crazy people are still panic buying & I can't go into stores because of my health issues. You can be creative and still use common sense! Also, try ordering online. I've had luck with Amazon, Target, & Walmart.
@@alliem1072 I agree. It will be easier to find Kleenex than toilet paper. I had better luck going to smaller discount stores like Dollar General or Dollar Tree than Walmart or big grocery stores. Our Walmart is enforcing one door entrance policy with workers monitoring the lines when I went yesterday morning.

Honestly I am embarrassed as an Australian, me and my family don't really care about toilet paper, we think about others and only get one pack, half a pack lasted us for over a month and we only go to the stores to get food or for me I go to get art supplies to keep myself entertained during quarantine. It's disgusting to see people hoard toilet paper when there's so many other alternatives and people who need it, how selfish.
As I was saying to my wife, the immigrant communities don't understand how Australia's abundance is so high. It's 70% migrant 20% low socio-economic and 10% fools.

To all the people worrying about not having toilet paper, let me tell you as an Indian living in Europe, wash it with water. Easier and better. We've been doing this for decades. Works like magic
Their is one thing that everyone can do which might help supplies last longer. We can all eat a little less food than we normally would, therefore we poop less.
