Stupes (they/them) credits the prom in the video description. As I understand it, the poet was lamenting the untimely passing of a close friend and this was but one passage written in response to the loss. A moment after you identified that the wanderer was the Steward returning, there's a clip of them stepping on a newspaper on the floor with the full-fold headline, "Steward Exiled," so you were spot on. As to the production, I expect the bulk of what you see is practical. If you stayed on past the as read you would've learned that they even went as far as to get a snow machine. The only CG I expect was to do with the bonfire flame and embers, the greater tundra, and expansion of the parliament chamber beyond what I expect was only a few meters wide on-set. I recognized several props(and set dressings) from assorted videos over the years making cameos, including a part of the set used in their prior video (which cost about 30k USD to make, based on a couple tweets Stupes made a few weeks ago)
Auburn is a reddish-brown color. when you want to invoke the themes of autumn the beginning of wintery months. Auburn is also color of ember flames etc.
Ironically enough, "Aubern" actually literally translates to "whiten-ed". With the root word being alba. But at some point, people started spelling it "Abrune" and then "Abroun" and it got confused with brown for a couple hundred years.
