if you want to dodge all of the hateful, you can try to dodge when it is inbetween you and hatred for dread, just press space when head goes sparky-spark
for me, dodging those ball attacks, just pretend it's like griefer's acid rain attack or whatever it's called, and for the lightning part, I just look at hatred's face and when the little battle on hatred's face is gone, I wait for a split second and press space
i definitely like sp-renewable builds, so this gets a like from me. This is something i would maybe have created in demo 1 or 2, but i probably wouldn't now because of 3x fireball and/or other cards.
definitely the one major benefit of this kind of build is that you get major leniency stat-wise, so you can powerstack HP Upgrades as they did here. 10hp for free from icedagger is nothing to scoff at...
better choice for this fight imo and experience was using like baller, ante up and stacked fireball with the occasional softner I still used the sp reducer and allat and it did pretty well but I guess having a card for every situation is also nice.
Baller build with all cards related to ball opens up a great field for strategy, in which you easily can decide what to do depending on the situation. Ball tends to have anything to respond to almost any situation oppositively - Armored enemy/softener, strong enemy that you don't wish to be attacking/snowball, beefy enemy to deal with simultaneously while you're fighting fodder/fireball, 3 or 4 enemies/linebounce... Yet i don't think that will be that useful against beefy bosses like Hatred, Bubonic plant, Fear or Bigfoot. The best thing to do is to remanage the deck for it to adapt and counter the boss's abilities.
A quick recomendation, Lower your hp and maybe increase your sp so that you have max bp, use ante up and 2 happy SPs. Unequip sp drain for the +2 atk, and unequip 1 hp+ and happy hp, so u can maybe fit in a defense+, recomended hp and sp, hp=20 (25 with the hp+), sp=15. So in conclusion: all baller cards u currently have= 6bp, ante up, baller, and defense+ is 14bp, 2× happy sp=4bp, hp+=3bp, and with the last 3 bp can be whatever u want thats 3 bp and below ofc. I do recommend using a copy of fireball, a copy of daze, and a copy of snowball for the last 3 bp.
Bro his build is to have sp drain with sp reducer to have all his ball cards 1 sp while gaining back the 1 sp from attacking an enemy, this just a whole different build you recommended 😭😭
Yo I use a baller build and I think it's pretty good, here's my cards. It can solo the pit and every boss 25 HP 15 SP 30 BP No Hp+ or Sp+ cards 5 damage base attack Defend+ Ante Up Baller SP Saver Call: Gorilla Cannonball Snowball 2x Fireball 2x Comatose Linebounce Softener SP Finder Minimize Let me know what you think and if I can improve it! Double comatose is op though, it basically an insta-kill The gorilla card is op, it's a cheap card that basically gives you a shield with 10 hit points. All the other summon cards are too expensive because this build relies on being able to regen SP fast enough to keep up with everything. The SP Finder could be replaced though. I just think putting it in anything else would make it too expensive. Triple Fireball would be way too expensive and I use snowball as a short stun or a +1 damage attack. If I got better with the rocket boots then maybe I could skip cannonball, but I think it's too valuable. Also, if you decide to use this, just know that linebounce is REALLY hard with Ante Up. Like really hard, it feels like a 1 frame window.
Pretty cool build, funny to see how many things actually work. I did this solo hard mode with a support build. (-9 atk if it wasn't capped with 3 cures, 1 resurrect, 3 hp drains and 2 sp drains)The times I went to mortal hp and still lived was probably one too many. Still 10 sp for a build that literally is driven by using sp is not the best.
less expensive builds being: sacrificial lamb: 80hp, 5 sp and 6 bp. use all the sacrifice cards + 1 custom level 1 build: 10 hp, 5 sp and 3bp add more less expensive builds in the comments i’m too lazy for this
Baller is definitely my favorite playstyle, especially when I can have someone give me free poison and I stack 7 turns of fire and poison, if I’m playing solo I spam minimize/linebounce after using fireball

thank you i can finally ball now on my main save (hard mode) i was using ball for the entire game but had to ditch it for a knight build against hatred now i can show this fucker the true power of ball
hmmmmmm, can you do a build with "call:cruel king" card with free "ice/poison/fire" cards and charge cards? just like put those enchantments on the cruel king summon and watch cruel king deals ton of damage xD
who cares if you suck at the game, you have a cat irl therefore you are always winning plus, cool deck building is more interesting than skilled gameplay
they should make a badge called "BALLER" (or something, reference to that one boss fight game which i forgot the name of), and to get it you need the baller card and all ball-related cards (fireball, snowball, cannonball, etc)
