@@biggus_dickkus There are enough duckheads out there that do tear up the grass, when some local tell you to not drive there go away. They usely know the farmer or have fields in the area too, that they dont want to be teared up. If no one is bother someone and you dont do damage it is ok but still not legal. Otherwise go away. In some areas it is illegal to drive on trials in the forest, as long as you respect each other everything is fine, if you start to piss of the locals, you will meet the cops pretty often bothering you when riding. It is all about respect.

As a rider i found out at age 16 when i was attacked by a man in his 40's that your helmet is the best weapon,i took off my helmet and cracked him across the head and knocked him dizzy and fell over. Take off the helmet and start swinging watch them run! If theyre on the ground bike boots can do damage too ; )
