I'm happy to see more people grabbing brakes and not horns. Also agree with the mirror smash because you might have gotten your "payback" but that driver will pass on their "payback" to another biker. Giving us bad reps and they'll care less about us in the future.
You shouldn't discourage horn use. If anything, they should be used more often. They're a tool to tell people that you're there. It's not about using it as a fuck you button. I use my horn all the time because if I use my brakes while tapping my horn, the car will be aware of me and we can both try to avoid an accident.

@5:39 biker was brushed by the driver which tore off the plastic bumper cover of the car. Biker pulled over thinking the driver was behind her not realizing he was running to the exit to get away. Biker went back and found the bumper cover but it didn’t have a # plate on it. Be careful out there.
1:55 the number one killer of motorcyclists. This video is crazy, that R3 in San Francisco on the freeway almost became an oreo cookie behind that bus. I don't live or ride in the city. My buddy hit a honda car that turned left in front of him. He's allright but it took a long time to recover, but you never fully recover from something like that.
@@ShaedTheMoron people in cars making left hand turns into and across your lane. So you hit them head on or T bone them. That is the number one killer of motorcyclists at 1:55 is a prime example.

7:21 The bus’s indicator was on, the bike was required to stop and let him out. Bus’s do NOT give way when pulling out in NSW. Once their indicator is on, they just pull out. That’s literally the law :)
1:14 maybe use your indicator to go right if you are in a lane forgoing straight OR turning right. If a car did the exact same thing and the biker was in the position of that other biker overtaking him on his right he would have flipped out and smashed a mirror

Either way, I would overtake someone on the right on a intersection like that so the other biker is stupid as well, but being in the left lane for turning right or going straight in stead of the right lane for turning only and not using an indicator is dumb as fuck
I wanna get a train horn for my bicycle but for some reason that's illegal in the UK as "the horn is not proportionate to the vehicle" like a horn is a horn regardless of what sound it makes

The van was in the emergency lane, and I think the SUV was pulling out a little to see down the traffic, trying to see why everyone is going so slow. Yes, she shouldn't have blindly pulled out, but the van wasn't supposed to be there. He was cheating traffic. Which is why he fled, using the emergency lane is a pretty expensive ticket.
This is the reason why I mainly ride on track, people think sorry I didn't see you makes everything ok. Yeah tell that to my family when I'm laying dead in the road.
I disagree with someone grazing your mirror being labelled a hit and run if there is no visible damage or impact that affects the vehicle then it's not a hit and run Dangerous driving absolutely, careless and ignorant to not check with the rider - absolutely but it's not a hit and run

The ironic thing about the accident and the entire following of the hit and run vehicle at 2:40 was the fact that the van driver was completely not at fault! In California, driving over the double yellow lines to get into the carpool lane is a traffic violation. That Honda SUV that tried to get into the lane was completely in the wrong. In hindsight we know there is camera footage of the accident, but I imagine at the time, the van driver, who probably did not have a license or insurance, got scared of the thought of a cop pulling up so tried to run away.
