yeah, you are right, but i am a biker and have been known to stop and help women for whatever and i carry the most powerful pepper spray you can get and i have sprayed about 3 assholes who start to walk towards me when they get any closer than 6 feet, especially after i yell at them and a friend of mine who is a police officer convinced me to stop carrying a small metal baseball bat, my hunting knife and my grandpas' 5 shot pistol, oh, and almost everyone in our club owns harleys only and we do not take assholes lightly and as far as to what my buddies carry around on their bikes, well, i don't ask or care and i am thinking of getting a 9 shot automatic as i now have my conceal and carry permit which says more than my keyboard, wow, very intimidating to say the least!

ron valic Most, if not all, of the things you mentioned are illegal in the UK. On saying that Ive never had a need to defend or protect myself while out riding...and Ive been riding a fair few years. Yes there are some idiot drivers but Ive never had anyone attack or approach me with that in mind.

well, in america, a lot of cities and especially chicago, illinois, sometimes angry drivers will either run you off the road or shoot bullets at you, very crazy times right now, and seems like world wide too, but,, i had a dude just start to run right at me with a mean face and he was a short dude and i most likely could have put a karate' kick right in his stomach but lately in america, if you even defend yourself you will get arrested for battery, so i thought, hmmm, i better not kick this jerk in the gut as i probably would have hurt him badly cause he was drunk as a skunk and he was just a short little man, i guess he had a full beard cause he probably thought that make him look tuff, which it did, so, when he was about feet from me i whipped out a large container of police mace, which is now illegal in america as only pepper spray is the only shit that is legal, and man, let me tell you, that guy dropped to his knees as though i had shot him with a real gun, and man, you should have heard him scream bloody murder and crying and writhing on the ground like a dying fish, i was shocked as he was the first person i had ever confronted in my entire life and i am 63, and was 25 at that time, and i ran to the phone and called the cops, cause cell phones were not yet sold to the public, and the cops and ambulance came and took him to the hospital to get his eyes washed out and the cops took my mace and told me to go back to my campsite and to have a nice night, as the cops knew the dude that i sprayed and told me he was a trouble maker, ha ha ha, the fucker got what he deserved, wow, that was 39 years ago and i have carried pepper spray ever since then and found out on the net that pepper spray is way more effective than mace cause it is more instantaneous than mace so that is what i carry now, and see, had i stabbed the guy or hit him or shot him with a pistol, i would probably still be in prison, hey, the other day in chicago, a police officer was on the express way and involved with a bad guy in a gun battle and a regular citizen was driving by who had a carry and conceal permit and was carrying his gun, stopped to help the cop shoot at the bad guy as the officer was hit by two bullets and on the ground and the citizen shot and stopped the bad guy, just thought you might wanna know,, just google officer shot in chicago and helped by gun toting citizen, i am outta here......

True.The last clip where the woman in the Volkswagen hit the bike , check she did indicate at 9.30 minutes of the tape that she was changing lanes and the bike still tried to cut in at 9.35 minutes. Dont know what the rule is in that country, but most countries have a 3 second rule in good weather and 4 second rule in bad weather. The lady did indicate. I understand the whole "you're going to fall / crash at some point" thing, but typically there's an obvious reasons as to why and how when it happens, but when I see clips like the first one, I can't for the life of me begin to understand what's happening. I noticed those clips with people's bikes falling like the wheel has just been hit by a slapshot usually happen in the UK...
