Exactly what I was thinking. When the hell has "rake" ever been used to describe an immoral pleasure seeker? I think the judges purposely made it the wrong answer to make fun of Ken when he said it.

Haha I totally agree with you! Points for the humorous answer! =D Ken Jennings actually is a very smart AND lucky man. He was that guy who was on Jeopardy like 75 times. He won over 3 million dollars I think. That's why it's double funny, because he's the champion and he gave such a hilarious answer.

Rin Jackson Actually it has everything to do with whether the answer is right. You have to give an answer that’s on the board. If you don’t then you’re wrong.

The best part about the Jeopardy one is how far in the lead the guy is: he had $14,800 while the closest person had -$200 and the guy who answered "rake" had -$600!

bonobo2go The tool hoe is also spelled with an e at the end in the U.S. That contestant may have not known what the right answer was so he used the slang for a femal immoral pleasure seeker. The answer was about a male immoral pleasure seeker.

A rodent is a type of mammal with similar characteristics ranging from a mouse or hamster to capybara, and many others in between. For the second question, the contestant misheard “pasta” as “posture”.
