If someone is attempting to rob you, you do what they say and give them your shit. Period. Your anecdotal examples don't mean anything when the fact is most petty thieves are looking to get your stuff and go with no incidents, they aren't looking to catch a 20 year murder charge. Yes some maniac might kill you anyway, but your odds of survival go up exponentially if you do what they say. Your life is not worth material possessions.

zachary stephens: Haha. That's very true. My mom's side of the family came from Texas way back when, and there was a story everyone in the family knew of a distant cousin who was a "horse thief"... In Texas. He lived in the rural community just outside of the nearby small town and everyone knew him. He would take people's horses to ride into town and sometimes take someone's horse to get back to his family's place. People weren't happy about it, but yeah, they knew he was like that and just went to get their horse every time he took one. haha

everyone has a story like this. i knew a guy who told me that his grandfather was a nazi in ww2, and after the war was able to move to america, im guessing operation paperclip related or something. anyways he supposedly still had nazi memorabilia in his bedroom, and when someone tried to rob the house in the night he jumped out of bed, put on a nazi military hat, and otherwise completely nude he chased the burglers into the street. the commotion woke some of the neighbors and he was known as the naked nazi in the neighborhood from that point on.

I worked nights at a hotel for over 10 years by myself. My only issue was with parents not watching their kids.

Now, they've learned to divide Americans against each other, so they can all sneak money into their bank accounts while no one is looking. It's terrible. I've never known any human that can outrun a bullet! I always am armed and only had to pull my gun one time. The police said I should of shot him because he was going to carjack me. I was so young and had just started shooting. My husband made sure I can handle any of our guns and hit what I'm aiming for. So far I have murdered a butt load of dirt and metal plates. I love shooting and my family always have a great time shooting!

@@GVoodoo If I was eager to kill someone then the guy that forced my car off the road. His car had no tag, he kept his face covered enough that I could not see any facial features. After seeing another person that was laying in the backseat of his car pop up and see where I was and all in the area where a chop shop was doing great business. When he pulled a police baton and started toward me yes I should of shot him. Did heve a kidnapped person in his backseat, something I have to live with because I didn't stop him. This was over twenty years ago out on a stretch of county road where you could not see a house and no cell phone. I pointed my 357 mag, big gun, and told him to stop and leave or I would shoot. I guess he had something to live for cause he left. A friend of mine that was a Deputy Sheriff told me that I was in extream danger and to never take risks with my life. He thinks the person in the backseat was who would of drove my car away. This scared the crap out of me so my husband insisted that I learned to hit what I aim at. I'm old, fat and ugly now so don't think no man would come to me with bad intentions unless they were blind and desperate so at least that problem is gone.
