I have 4 children, 3 sons and one daughter and they all are in martial arts. The discipline and confidence that has given them is priceless and has continued to yeild results to this day. All my children have stayed on honor roll, my 2 oldest in the National Honors Society, my oldest son works and is on his way to college on an academic scholarship for computer engineering and found his own job when he was 17, my daughter is teaching herself Japanese, sews face mask for a business and baked goods along with playing the flute. And my 2 oldest have there 1st degree black belts, my youngest are at the light blue stage and have popcorn and smoothie businesses at 8 and 10. They've seen boys and girls come and go without seeing a black belt. My oldest son has retired 4 boys with sparring, and his confidence is through the roof, as it should be. Discipline and adaptability will get you through situations with more success than anything. And the failing just teaches you what won't give you the results you want.

People always talk about how he spoke to women. I dont see him taking it easy on men either. All he did was try to uplift us to become the best version of ourselves and get of the couch, get out there and do the work. This is nothing revolutionary. We tell ourselves this. We can hide in our thoughts but when someone else says it now we have to do it. As blacks we are good at sports and entertainment. Let go and be just as great in the corporate world and these trades. It aint even that hard we just have to do the work and dont let ANYTHING distract us from our purpose.

I remember being introduced to Kevin’s content late 2018 early 2019. I never seen nothing like it. He helped me get out of delusions and into truths and logic. He may have been a little unorthodox but as women sometimes we need to be hit over the head with facts. We can be extremely hard headed and defensive. I must admit that most of the things the Late Samuels says, my Dad told me many, many, times growing up. Admittedly, I didn't heed my Pops advice until I hit my mid 30s. Now I'm a six figure man in my 50s realizing I could of been a multimillionaire IF I would've followed his wise teaching in my 20s. Yes, with many people stupid stays stuck. My Dad used to say "Life changes. If you don't change with it, it'll pass you by. "
While I'm saddened immensely by his passing, I'm grateful that he has left such a large catalogue of video content to look back onto - and it will be viable for years and years to come. Young men of all races needed someone to pave the way the way KS did - so many have been guided away from the path to manhood.
His words were very powerful and it’s up to us to take that and better ourselves. He always spoke facts whether we liked it or not. Just started watching Mr Samuels about two years ago.. Went back to his beginning video's and to see himself transformed over the years. To see that, tells me I can do the same. In Hindu culture we have an understanding that this whole world\universe is my own home. That means all of the beings inside of that are my brothers and sisters. So why to be shy in your own house ? Anywhere you go its your own house. Hold not inferiority nor superiority point of view. Have an equality point of view. Respect the knowledgeable and see their mentorship, guide the naive and do your duty well. This is the formula to be accepted anywhere in the world and in everyone's heart.
That mindset might work in India but if you come out to the west or the middle east they will absolutely see you as inferior because of your background and you will be put in your place. You can think whatever you want in your head about how everyone is equal but reality or the locals will show you otherwise.
I'm glad to hear this video. All I've mostly been hearing is how women need to change. I'm glad to hear him talk about how men need to change as well. Evolve your mindset. I've met too many men who are stuck in their dysfunctional thinking and miss having a good woman in their lives.

You try to have these next level conversations with the people you love and grew up with alike, they're going to get off the phone or act like they're busy to get out of that conversation so fast, you won't know what hit you. What you do is on your end, stop the small talk and mindless chit chat. Especially sports, gossip and music. People who stay stuck LOVE those conversations. Show them what it is to be _really_ busy. Don't let them take a minute of your time. Run LAPS around them.
I was aware that I've been stuck for years and of my own doing, but I didn't realize there was a culture of having your own brother be stuck. It's too bad that's the case and I hope more people like Kevin come out and call this out so people can be better.
