The 1000hp guy: Person: yeah I bought this car and I was able to squeeze out 700hp at the moment, it's pretty quick for what it is 1000: pfffff yeah that's pretty quick if you like going slow, if you're not making AT LEAST 1000hp then you're not even relevant, if I had a LS right now I could put it in a car and easily make a 1000hp car and EASILY smoke your car, dude, ALL STOCK as well so don't brag about your 700hp like if it's anything special **proceeds to walk off and get in his grandma's stock Buick LeSabre**
@@XxTrickyShotzxX I've seen it on a few RU-vid comments, usually coming from an LS fanboy or a 2jz fanboy, either way, it's pretty cringe to read sometimes especially when they challenge someone online to a race, like, you're in California and the other dude is in Florida so I doubt either of you are willing to meet up in Texas or Louisiana to do a 10 minute drag race over some RU-vid comment beef.
CheekyKnob goodness a person like that 1000 hp guy would make me want to punch him in the face knowing there's people in the car community like that, imagine how many amateurs/potential car enthusiasts have been put off cars because of people like them
Guessing by your name, you're Portuguese, right? I currently live in Switzerland, but I'm Portuguese and after I found out how strict the laws are there, that really made me reconsider going back... Tbh I think I might just move to Britain instead and visit from time to time... I hear Germany is also not too bad either, though a bit more strict. Is the government ever gonna adress their unfinished tuning laws?
New cars with all the new technology, luxury features, etc are going to age very poorly because many of those over-complex systems break over time. If you get a used car yes maybe the initial maintenance cost is a little bit higher, but you don’t owe $500 payments every month, and if you put work into something, you can be truly proud of it.
I was sick of everyone on different videos outside of my scope of YT constantly say, "wHy aReN'T aN ACe cOMbAT cHANNeL?" The reason being my previous icon looked like a symbol featured in a game called Ace Combat 4.
As a young car enthusiast who owns 3 older cars, I can happily say that all 3 cars plus maintenance and modifications have cost me less than what my friends have paid for their newer cars, I haven't had to take on any debt to purchase them, and insurance is cheaper. All for 3 cars that make me wayyy happier to drive.
Marius I hate Tesla but I could respect that you like Tesla, but most Tesla fans are fanboys and they ruin me having any respect for Tesla but their cars are pretty quick
Nobody: Bladed Angel: Owned a Mustang and Corvette before the age of 30. Okay I do appreciate your hard work for buying those cars😂. Good luck for the future😉👍
I can confirm the video audio argument, I've always heard the Aventador revving full range on the internet, and I thought that is was loud, but also not really, but when i heard one irl, the guy who owned it just slightly touched the gas pedal, maybe revved it to like only 1500rpm, and holy fucking shit, I fucking JUMPED when I heard that 1500rpm rev, it sounded like what i thought it sounded at 7000rpm, like fucking hell is that car loud
I spent WAAAAYY more money on my 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2 than i have on my 2017 WRX. Thinking someone is poor because they have an older/old car is crazy😂
yes because the guy in a shitbox 90s miata spent more money than the guy in a new hellcat right ? i’m guessing that doesn’t go for classic icons, it’s meant more for the shitboxes people buy because they can’t afford a better car
For me, I appreciate stock OEM, but only for really nice and expensive cars. I would never even think about modifying something like a rolls Royce or a Bugatti
As an American I thought finding a $100 ford xd/xf at the wreckers was a lot more common place in Australia, no hate over here though everything is expensive as, cheers man
@@moniker8391 i feel like everyone thinks their country is a more expensive place to live, i was referring to the overinflated nature of houses, not cars
i extremely agree with the sound thing, no video will capture the straight piped v8 that my okd step dad had, you could hear it from 3 blocks away, and inside of the car you basically had to yell to talk to eachother, it was perfect.
Though I appreciate my car my choice, loud noises at night suck. At day, loud exhaust to the max my friend, but sometimes loud exhaust 'disturbs peace'.
That is the best way you can end off the series, by saying we all need to enjoy every point A, every point B, and the journey between. Saying we shouldn't judge people by the age of their car. Personally, I want to drive a 2004 Nissan Altima, which some would consider an "old car", though it was manufactured on the model year I was born on (I was born in 04). If someone tries to tell me, "Oh, your car's stupid cuz it's old," I will say, "I like my car, so I'ma drive my car." Back to the point, I like the way you ended that.
Bladed, about the cellphone argument, is way faster to just say: "well, by downloading an app also makes an cellphone different that the way they came". if you download any app your also "into modding" (but with cellphones). Btw great video mate, we love all the work you put into these videos.
Personally, I like tastefully loud cars... that being said, there are some very annoying cars/trucks in my area where the drivers like to slow down and floor it to hear their exhaust, and I hate those people with a passion.
Dew no, I hate people coming to a stop in the middle of a one lane road and flooring it, cuz that’s just dangerous and it happens way too often where I live. At a stop light or on the highway or something I’m fine with
Just remember Be proud what car u owned Cuz ppl fix old cars to make them move not to make it fast. It doesn't matter about environmental laws or status just drive that car to its limits
My mentality involving my 99 Camaro. It is currently at the mechanic's for the second time in two years. I don't push it because I just want it to drive.
I’m trying to get into the car community and u are helping me out a lot, it’s to the point where I actually understand most jokes. But i still don’t understand somethings like when or if i go to the shop for anything. I also love your corvette so much (it’s my new dream car). Keep up the good work love the vids 💛🖤💛🖤
As i always say: The good tuning only adds extra things and never takes away. If you can find a part that performs better than the OEM version, it's not rice. You can put everything on your car, just do your research, and do it on the correct way. I spent 2 months to find myself the perfect set of aftermarket wheels. Yes, the main point was the visual appealance. But i checked other details like mass, best tire options etc... If you keep this simple hint you will never be a ricer.
I love that you always have the GranTurismo music in the back. Absolutely love it childhood game right there. Love the videos, been subbed for a long time
Honestly, these lines (except the OEM parts one) sounds like something that would come out of some normie's/non-carguy's mouth. A real car enthusiast would never say something like "old car equals trash car for poor people" or "why buy a car if you're changing it anyway". That's so stupid on so many levels...
(Just like @Grey Wolf Racing said) "Old Cars = Poor People Ferrari 250 GTO= Record breaking $70 Million Bugatti Atlantic SC57= $20 Million+ Ford GT40 (Ken Miles)= $10 Million+ Ferrari 250 GT Calif. Spider= $18 Million+
Just last week I heard my first 458 with an aftermarket exhaust on it and you could hear from 3 blocks away in downtown Portland from inside a building. Also being within 20 feet of it and them revving it you could feel it in your chest and throughout your body.
One thing I will say is I hate cars being SUPER loud when they're going like 20 mph, I do like a purr and whatnot, but if it's super loud and not going fast, I feel like it's obnoxious to me
Lol the first one is hilarious to me. Not really a car guy quite yet but I'm learning and starting to get into the off-road scene for a start. I have a 92 4runner that I'm beginning to learn on and mod over time, and the previous owner lost some bolts working on it over the years. Turns out I'm a ricer, who knew!
Older cars make for better project cars tbh, mostly because you can use new parts to fix up what is old on the car. Thats the mind set I get whenever I see someone with an older car. Then again not everyone thinks the same as me
Hit the nail on the head with this video :D The "oldest = poorest" is such a fucked up thing to say. First of all, a lot of classics out there are starting to cost a shitload. Second of all, even if older cars are cheaper, so what? Maybe I like that car, for example how I love E34's, girls that don't even know shit about cars are like "ewww" and I'm just there face-palming so hard. And also, if it is cheaper that means I'm technically smarter than they are lmfao.
The last part of the video was true and thanks for speaking the damn truth Bladed Angel. Jeez some people really needed to hear this information coming from a guy like Bladed Angel making every logical point. I can't really go to full detail because it was that damn good.
Guys take in what this guy says. Dont hate on cars ppl have because that's their taste. Everybody has different taste. Older card are typically more valueable and less likely to break down. I like a honda civic front 1995 or a wrx from 2003. If anybody ever is negative toward that tell them fuck you to their face. Those are the ppl that arent real car enthusiast. Real car enthusiast have respect for all builds
Im sorry but it seems like this guy is just complaining about everything. Been subbed for a while, but I’m thinking sometimes it’s not that bad what people say
I like old cars more than new ones but i never say that the new ones are stupid Couse they are not that's someones personal taste and i respect everyone's
“Companies study you guys’s habits. They know what you guys want, so they follow consumer intel and therefore release a car that appeals to the mass public.” *cries in Mitsubishi* RIP all the sweet cars they could be making if they could accomplish this😔
"cars are second most expensive thing you will buy in your lifetime" rich kids: daddy doesn't trust me with super cars anymore so look at my 1 mill rolex
@@Packle. that makes no sense not being modified doesnt make a car inherently better i assume it has a horrible suspension because the standard at the time was horrible so if i went and gave it a better suspension the car would somehow become worse??that is just stupid you can say that you value original parts more than you value performance but that doesnt mean that adding better parts makes the car worse that would be like saying if you paint a blue car red you made it worse because blue is inherently better than red your way of thinking is absolutely flawed
@@HECKproductions You are looking at what I said in a dumb way to call me stupid odiously changing the Suspension is fine even a good idea considering the circumstances. changing the engine sure go ahead just dont fuck with the way the car looks or rice the hell out of it.
