I lived in Cleveland my whole life, and since i was a kid all I had to do was get across the freeway to do some fishing on Erie. When that wind picks, they are on the side of a reef, or a deep wall , or mud line. but there are those times and places that sitting in that wind like you did pay off. E; you mention a good point on smallies especially when cloudy , see the fish after boat goes over them and find yourself fishing more backwards on cloudy days. Spot Lock has to be one of biggest technical improvements over the last several years. Enjoyed the move where you saw the large rocks and turned boat around and caught fish by your instincts. was the tube bite any good at all ? Good stuff.

Awesome fishing, can’t win them all. It’s great that you share some of your tactics, setups and strategy with others. The future is looking great in the fishing world with so many high schools and colleges having fishing teams these days.

Its under 90 degrees and showers here off and on all day here on Hartwell. Your videos are awesome man. Im about to go out and try to flip some bushes or yank some off the bank with a spinner bait. For once its not crazy busy on a weekend. My first boat i bought finally is a 2001 skeeter sx190. Been a co angler on the FLW for a while now, it was time to step it up though. Really hope we can catch some fish sometime.

Sturgeon Bay is a fun place to fish, so to finish 14th at a place that is fun, and full of smallies is amazing!! I'm happy to be following along with you. Why is it so hard to trust our gut during a tournament? Pressure is my guess. We out think our instinct maybe.

Just curious.. when retrieving your drop shot do you drag it back to the boat shaking it periodically or jig it off the bottom and letting it fall back down?

Edwin, it would be a dream to fish there but probably never happen. Would be a cool place to win a trip with a pro like Edwin. I sure understand why you would go back to your last spot where you were catching them so good. Do you think in the calmer water they would bitten better? Maybe you could have seen them.
