Wow, I love that they aded a miniature interior. Just for that, I will be getting this set. I have been waiting for interiors for SO LONG! I do understand that smaller, cheaper models can only have limited interior, but seeing the gun breach and removable engine just is so cool. Hope they can do this for future smaller scale models (I don't feel like paying 800 USD for the larger models).

I like the model a lot, especially because of how they've done the gun (bought it myself), but I think the side armor is a little bit off (too angled I think), but maybe its just me.
I looked at a book under my bed that has all armoured tanks of WW2 and side armour is correct as it like that to deflect small arms fire and anti tank rounds. Tank shells it spaced armour. How i changed my Stug A to a Stug F (soon to be a F/1 or G without side armour if parts would arrive from cobi).
If you're talking about the Schürzen, because of the way they were hung from the AFV's, they tended to slope inward toward the bottom. You can see that in a number of contemporary photos of German armor. But on the Cobi model, they're just too thick to be believable, but that's just a limitation of building with bricks. (I do realize though this is basically a toy and not a scale model kit.)
@@SO-ym3zs Um. They don't look that thick to me. if you take in scale. Also I pulled my book out and yeh they look thin. But they are thick enough to tumble anti-tank rifles and small arms fire. As for tank rounds it like spaced armour. So i think it almost perfect on stug 4. Look at old stug 3 and pz 4 kit that thicker then what we have now.
Nice to see even you make minor mistakes. won't spoil where though. The printed light i got came as one complete piece. It a great kit and i built bags 1 and 2 easy. Bag 3 the killer. Wonder what else we going to get this year as 1/28-1/30 scale tanks.
@@willknowler8194 Well that i know. That may be next year. Look at what they surprised us with Jagd Panther and the stug 4, the new trains, the battle of arras and the 1/12 tiger 131. So i reckon we may see a fair few more surprise kits coming.

Editions sind sowieso generell überbewertet als Solche, denn ich sehe keinerlei Mehrwert, was P/L anbelangt!) , bei dem' Gedöns! 'was immer so beiliegt, rechtfertigt den VP(Unterschied!) in keinster Weise! - das Set ist sowieso für mich persönlich ein Pflichtkauf, genau wie der neue Jagdpanther. 1:28eben👌🔝 Danke wieder für deine stete Mühe, zu meckern gibt's bei deinen Vids sowieso nie wirklich Etwas! 👍l.G. wieder aus 🇦🇹 Anm: die neue Matilda II A12 von Quan Guan (auch in etwa 1:28!) hab ich mir geordert, passt super wieder zum Afrika Corps - vielleicht riskierst du auch einen Blick?! 👋🏻
And this is why they should make more 1:28 scale - so much more scope to do interiors -in fact if it were easier to "pick a brick" like Lego do, I'd convert some of my current Cobi tanks - as it is getting spares is so awkward.

Hättest du vielleicht umgekehrt machen sollen 😉 Diese angewinkelten Seitenschürzen haben schon was im Vergleich zu den einfachen Schürzen des Jagdpanthers, die ich schon an der LE vom normalen Panther hab
It’s kind of disappointing that you have to buy the fairly limited special edition in order to get the side skirts. I don’t really need all that other junk, especially with the level of difficulty involved in getting the limited addition versions here in America, but I would like the skirts
It's kind of annoying that the standard version has the better sand colour... I do have the limited one sitting around unopened and can't decide between skirts and nicer colour 😐.
