LOVE DREAMCAST. My best console forever. Arcade at home, 4 players, incredible games, the bomb at 1998 and play again more than PS4

Switch version looks amazing but DC version is very impressive indeed,especially when you take into consideration it's 2.5 gens earlier

It's a shame we probably won't see another Dreamcast game with this level of graphical polish again, Although I am sure someone could port Streets of Rage 4 to it!

The developer of Sturmwind is working on a new Dreamcast game but it will be awhile! I do think a Streets of Rage 4 port is possible but t would take a lot of work and I would like to see Sonic Mania ported to Dreamcast!

I'm not liking the glare effect they seem to have added to the Switch / PC version. For me personally, it's a bit distracting. I prefer it the way it looks on the Dreamcast!

Anyone saying Switch version is better, think about the fact, that the Dreamcast is a 25 year old console - it's amazing what is capable of. It's my most favourite console ever, followed by Saturn and PS2. ❤️

I can’t give praise at all to a port thats 2 decades old. My dreamcast still lives on, & this game looks like its had no improvements made to to it. I have an upscaler on my dreamcast and the game can be digitally pushed out to 1080 in full screen and they look they same. Its great more people can play it, but this shows even more how underpowered the switch is. I am hoping sega comes back with some kind of console at least a new dreamcast especially now.

First thought, I don’t like the new title screen. In terms of the game it seems that they’ve zoomed in to reach the wider aspect ratio, as the ships and bullets seem larger - wouldn’t this make the game easier as the players’ fire would cover more of the vertical play area.

So switch got the inferior looking windows version.. Still, it's the same game to actually *play* and still absolutely worth owning at the meagre asking price. A dreamcast version original (not just a bootleg rom print which are around $30) is too expensive these days. I do wonder why they insisted on making the game look worse than the original though.. it never made sense to me when the PC version came out.

Thanks for your comment and yes the original Dreamcast version has sky rocketed in price these days. As you’ve mentioned the gameplay remains the same which is good ^DCUK 🌀👍

Really not much in it, the switches graphics are more polished,but the game play is exactly the same.....amazing

Dreamcast version is more pixelated but not by much , i prefer the dreamcast look

Agree with you, dc is pixelated but with scanlines added looks awesome and better than switch imo.

version dreamcast. elle semble plus fine moins ronde, y'a un effet 2.5d sur switch qui n'était pas nécessaire. par contre il semblerait que par moment certains instru sur switch son supérieur à ceux de la dream.

The Dreamcast is still the best console of all time. For the best arcade games and ports this is this only console you need.

I love my DC but the Switch is nice. What I cant figure out is why the game looks like crap on the Switch. I got my copy on the DC and was thinking of selling it but after seeing this I decided not to
