Waking up at 10am, grab my coffee cup, Notification ping, headphones on, new YT video's up. BoshnRoll, he's the man, his plays are so ill, Tap island, cast ponder slam Force of Will
I'd love to see modern with more decks like this being viable. This is probabily my favorite deck type. I love UB faeries in pauper, and I always wished to play faeries with command when I was teen, but this was a expensive deck.
That G1R1 was insane! Good to see amulet getting beat, even if it was a bit lucky. That kaito tho. After all, i have to imagine the dress downs are also there to help with prime time.
One of the FNM bosses back in my undergrad days, played a sultai build with abrupt decay and thoughtseize. Super excited to see the deck still kicking.
This was a very cool deck, and this league seemed like it showed modern to be pretty hostile towards anything less than a tier 1 deck. Do you think modern is in a good state right now?
Dress Down is really cool in this shell offensively on an opponent's end step, to unlock your sleepy fairies too if I understand how that ruling works correctly
I am curious if spell stutter (the instant, not the sprite) might have a home in modern faeries. or is it too much of a loss not having the body that sprite brings? not as a replacement for sprite, but an additional option.
@@fartface8918 while true, i think spell stutter is almost always going to be mana leak. It only requires 1 faery out to match that and, this being a tempo deck, you are almost always going to have more then that. So it's arguable they both have situations where they are better. No board you have a quench instead, and mana leak is better, but any board presence makes it at least on par with mana leak and you can hit things in situations mana leak can't. Straight up counterspell though... Only thing I got is that it requires UU instead of 1U to cast. Hard to argue a soft counter is better than a hard counter. But I can say it's usually easier to hold up because of the single U needed.
