Dope review man. The rebel is an awesome tool to utilize. It makes cutting hair easier. The fusion blade and deep tooth cutting blade are blend nicely. As far as guards go, my go tos are the babyliss premium 👍🏾💯

I really was surprised that I like them as much as I did. Biggest difference will be the noise, they are not as quiet as the Ergos.

Awesome content! I basically fade with detachable clippers all day. The Oster octane… But I recently just got a rebel, and a low pro. And I definitely enjoy using them a lot. The rebel almost feels like it has detachable power… Lol. Fantastic clipper! The JRL Is a fantastic adjustable clipper also

@@TheBarberPhil Yes, it is basically the same thing as the octane. Except it’s marketed more towards pet grooming. But I think it’s basically the same internally. I’m kind of excited to see the new Oster cordless 76

@@MrMarkmill My top three clippers right now. Are my Oster octanes. Style craft rebels, and the JRL 2020 C… The octane just has unbelievable power. The rebels, and the G.R.L. Also have unbelievable power. And fade great. All three of them have great run times. My favorite trimmer right now. Are the red FX threes by Babyliss. In the new Babyliss low pro trimmers

Great Video!!! I wish Wahl style platforms for clippers would have flush screws when you adjusted the blades. Some screws have a more pronounced screw head and others are a bit flatter which can create a gap between the guards and the still blade its what I've encountered. Anyone else experience this?🤔🤔🤔

Maybe not me myself, but the shop I work at have 11 barbers, so alot of new clippers do get bought!

Wow, thank you so much! Probably, bc of the way you can customize the look of the clippers, but I do think they got louder faster than a magic clip.

Congrats on the 5K, that’s my next milestone as well. Same on loving the guards! I just asked gamma if they’ve thought about making a color guard system. I’m about to start using a color chart on my videos to help people follow along better.

Rebel seems alright but also seems as if they are paying everyone to use one. I'll pass seems like it'll crap out after a few uses. I'll stick to my andis master cordless

I have a couple guys in the shop who say it’s their favorite clipper, and other who thought it got loud after a few months. The combo of a rebel with stretch bracket, deep tooth cutting blade and fusion blade is a pretty combo

I'm still a bit hesitant about buying the Rebel's because I wasn't very happy with the Alpha's. They just didn't have any power and ran quite noisy.

I haven’t personally used the alphas much, but I really did enjoy the Rebel. I do agree, they were definitely louder than my Ergos, which is my my clipper of choice.

It was a borrowed clipper from Seancutshair. He likes all of his clippers to be all black, and the front casing on that clipper at first was an alpha front casing that the logo had faded off

would you take rebels over seniors? the rebels seem to be a better value but which is better performance wise?

Rebel is nice because it comes with the Fusion Blade, the deep tooth cutting blade, and stretch bracket. Those are all features that I like over the senior. BUT, the Rebel gets a little loud for me, and all of those features that I like, fit the senior as well. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Tough call to make. My personal experience, yes. But the guard systems are totally different, so it a preference thing.

Depends on if you want to zero gap it or not be able to take out bald lines. It comes with a standard click lever on it, but the stretch bracket is in the package. I prefer the stretch bracket and zero gapped, so yes I made some adjustments, but they aren’t required for the clipper to be good.

I would have to agree. I just need a mod to come out where I can use the cutting and still Andis Blade. Right now you can only use the Andis still blade on the Ergos, not the cutting blade.
