I agree that the Flex is a great all around machine. My pick out of the whole Stylecraft lineup is definitely the Rebel. I love it and think it’s a phenomenal machine, regardless of the price. That rotary motor and blade combo can do everything at a very high level. I’m super impressed. Now… In my opinion, the Saber gets destroyed by the Cyborg, SNAPFX, Flex, Rebel, and the TPOB X. I have all of them and the Saber is loved by many. However, I’m just not on that train and I think it’s because mine was a lemon. It was crazy loud, the stand didn’t work half the time, and I felt like I was holding and using a $100-110 machine (at most). I don’t think they sent me a used one, I just think it was defective. Who knows..? I can definitely vouch for the Rebel and the Flex though. Great content per usual, Eddie. Thank you dude!
My first and only gamma/stylecraft trimmers I got are the absolute hitters and honestly, they are straight ass. I feel like due to the poor experience from the trimmer, I heavily avoid their trimmers now. Very very hesitant on giving the brand another chance at their trimmers
They’ve gotten a lot better now with The One blade bro i encourage you heavily to give them another chance personally i like the rebel with The One on it
@TymanHer The Gamma Cyborg is one of the top two trimmers of all time. I put it right next to the BaByliss SNAPFX as the Kings. It’s so damn good I can’t even explain it. The Wahl Hi-Viz isn’t even close to either of them. In my opinion, the Rebel is the second best trimmer from Gamma/Stylecraft. For $139, you’ll be hard pressed to find anything that tops it unless you spend $200.

@@TymanHerthe Rebel is superior in almost every conceivable way. It’s #5 on my list of 25 and the Saber is #11. I would skip the Saber altogether as I believe it is the most overrated trimmer of all time. Is a 8.5-9 out of 10 and there are so many machines on the market today that are superior. For one, the Cyborg is its cousin and it’s better across the board. Same internals, completely different package. The volume on the Cyborg has been turned up to 11 in comparison! I love it. In my opinion, Stylecraft should discontinue the Saber and create a 2.0: 1. Take the Cyborg and make it matte black, matte charcoal, or matte navy blue. 2. Rerelease the different colored Cyborg as the Stylecraft Saber 2.0. 3. It would sell like hotcakes and I could definitely get behind a matte Navy Blue or Charcoal Cyborg rebranded as the Saber. When the FXOne LoPROFX comes out, that’s another world-class option you should consider. If you have any other questions, let me know. Be well my friend!
Recently i bought a reg Walmart clippers to shave my head but it just doesn't give a clean shave, i would have to use a razor blade to finish it off. Any recommendationson the right tool for shaved head?
honestly all of these would be great for personal use, maybe get the Protege from stylecraft its the lowest cost. Or if cost isnt a big deal get the Saber trimmer its really awesome.
Find something nice with a Rotary motor. They cost a lot less than a Vector powered trimmer and they’re the second best at mowing through bulk. The JRL FF 2020T is my favorite “bulk remover” for the price ($110) and the Rebel ($139) is outstanding at the job too!
Instinct is trimmer just get the instinct you can do everything with it ergonomically flex great but wish that motor was more powerful like maybe put the rebel motor from the clipper in it ? Or figure out a instinct motor in it same goes with rebel clipper i wish they put a vector motor in it
I’m wondering if someone can help me… I’m not a barber but I need a good trimmer for my personal use. I just got the Phillips Norelco multigroom-9000 trimmer. It’s built pretty good but it doesn’t seem to cut that close… also, it says you don’t need to oil the “dual cutting blades”? That doesn’t make sense to me… how/why wouldn’t a stainless steel blade not need to be oiled? It’s not a ceramic blade so should I oil these blades or no?
As someone struggling with alopecia barbae , I need a trimmer (or tool in general) that will cut as close to the skin as possible . ( damn near razor close ) . If anyone has suggestions plz plz plz let me know
@WadeFadeit My Sabers are trash too!! By far the most overrated trimmer on the planet. I have 10 trimmers that make the Saber look bad. Glad to hear it’s not just me! People get really mad when I say the Saber is trash but I’m only being honest and transparent. Haters gonna hate.
