Light: game changer - don’t see this in the comments yet. You can just get a hook for the ceiling to pull it over to where you would like it. No moving electrical. No new table. No one will notice and super simple fix. IT’S A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT! ✌🏼💡

With the small odds of you seeing this... get a small hook on your ceiling right next to the fixture, hook the lamp cord on it, and boom, you "re-centred" AND get the fixture higher too!!!☺️☺️

The light in the dining room should definitely be centered with the wall and not like it is right now and the table should be pushed more towards the window like you said. The setup looks a bit off center the way it is now. But I love the new light fixture, looks amazing and really ties the whole setup together👌🏻

Loving this real life content! If you have any extra cord you could “swag” the light fixture and hook it to another hook on the ceiling to make it more centered on the full wall allowing you to move the table over. I agree it was an oversight by the builder.

To me especially with the last clip of the light it should be centered toward the wall. Because there's to much negative space in-between the table and the wall.

Definitely centered to the light, because the light hangs so low it would be weird if the table wasn’t centered to the light but that’s just my opinion ❤️ I love you so much!!!

Love this video. I think the light fixture centered with the ceiling, it’s the middle of the room and it gives you space around the table. Also, I like the idea of replacing the couch with a console table under the window rather than under the clothes so you have room for longer items.

I am so proud of you Alisha, opening up about mental health on pretty basic and being that voice for people. 💛💛

This is my very unprofessional opinion: the light should be centered to the wall and the table centered under that. But if you’re not wanting to get a smaller table I wouldn’t do that because, like you said, it’d be pretty cramped on the opposite side. UNLESS you moved the plant which would solve both problems.

Piercings! The rook is the easiest one it heals so fast and doesn’t get caught on stuff like it’s more protected, highly recommend! I also have an industrial that one took forever to heal but it’s a statement and I love it.

Table should be centred to the wall imo because currently it looks like it's off placed and disrupts the flow. Ik you like the light but personally not a fan. It's way too low something smaller and higher up would look better even when the table is not centred with the light.

Center the table and light to the wall! It will help the hallway also have its own space plus the table and light will look much more intentional to the dining room

I know it’s supposed to feel very girl-boss aesthetic but it’s honestly a little jarring when the vlogs are so chill. It makes more sense for the main channel. Just my two cents, just a thought!

Girlll I got piercings on both of my ears only a few weeks apart so I couldn’t sleep on either side well. I got a do ur pillow like that and it is THE BEST purchase I’ve ever made. They have healed so good and they aren’t sore anymore or anything. Get the pillow.

Lovely vlog

For the piercing, I got my cartilage pierced a year ago and I’ve been using a travel pillow so I can sleep on that side. (Just in case you want a cheaper option)

Alisha, Since the light & table blocks your egress path you should center the light fixture to the wall. But you should pull the table away from the ship-lapped wall so you can access the closest chairs. With the table pulled away from the wall, you can center it but still, have access. The table will now be closer to the window and kitchen but your path of egress will no longer be interrupted. I would also hang your light higher or move your neon sign so the two aren't competing. Hope this helps!
