There’s no way this man is gonna make some dope fits from Walmart! EDIT: I can’t believe he made a $40 outfit look like it’s $300, you gotta give it to him 👏👏
I got a Jos A. Bank and an Old Navy sweater similar to what Jose is wearing from GOODWILL for $4 each. Same thing with the button down dress shirts...$4!!! I wore this same type of outfit this winter (with Double Monks and Chelseas)
This is so dumb!! the tailoring going to cost more then the clothes if you are shopping at walmart.... if you going to spend money tailoring your clothes, why not just spend the extra money on better quality clothes? Also people who are guessing the price of your outfit are including your expensive accessory
@@LongHoang-ng7rd I believe the point is to LOOK like your outift cost $200+ while only spending much less. Yes, tailoring a pair of pants (hem, slim) could be between $20-$40, but if you spend $50 to get the look of $100 pair of chinos (Ambercrombie chinos are around $90), then you have extra $$$ in your pocket for the same look. Unless of course you have the disposable $$$, but not everyone does. 💯
First of all , I’ve got no idea why he had the Louis Vuitton backpack on , ofcourse people are gonna assume you have on a more expensive outfit , but that aside , it did look like cheap clothing , it only good better because it was tailored , that said this type of cheap clothing will not last long anyway , so why spend money on tailoring cheap ass clothes ? Use your brain guys
@Namith Nimlaka who buys clothes at Walmart in the US ?? (serious question). I'm Mexican and even here in Mexico buying clothes at Walmart is seen as low class
Going to TJ Maxx or Marshall’s and putting together an outfit is so fun. From working in designer retail for 5 days a week, doing stuff like this is refreshing.
Tips to make it look more high end: 1. Tailoring (price depends on where you are, but are usually pricey, but you can learn to do it yourself) 2. Wear a designer peice (i.e. balenciaga backpack) 3. Quality accessories Jade black ends @ 4:50 4. Wear branded shoes (i.e. chuck Taylor's, stan Smith's, Van's, etc.) (Walmart shoes ain't it lmao) 5. Sharp haircut 6. Confidence 7. Watch (not MVMT, Vincero, the 5th, Daniel Wellington, Movado (later models at least) lol. Idk if you want $2 watch quality) Get something like a $30 timex (expedition, explorer, or $25 1960's vintage used timex (take your time to find a real one on Ebay)), $85 seiko 5 (skx009/007, snk800, sarb033, and the other 1,000 models), Citizen (eco drive for $100), Orient (Bambino for $120), $10 Casio/G shocks (for working out) P.S.-Best bands for the casual/dress watches would be black/brown bands (dressed up and down), metal bracelets dress up and down, or a striped NATO strap (casual) End result: People thought a $40 Walmart outfit (plus $80 tailor tax) was $200, $250, and even $450!
See this is why you’ve been one of my biggest inspirations for my channel! The fact you can make a $40 outfit look like a $250-$400 outfit is insane!! 🔥 keep it up bro! Can’t wait to review He Grooming 👍🏻
@Dylan Ball “R. Grant That’s a fair point man. I didn’t think about accessories or alterations” I’ve said this a few times now. It’s not a fair point because this guy assumes that paying more somewhere else means you can avoid the tailor tax. Let’s put it this way. I’m a shorty who needs inseams of about 28”. But I can’t find this off the rack. So my tailor charges $14 to hem. So if I buy jeans that cost $20 then they become $34. But if I went out and paid $34 from the start, then they’ll become $48 jeans. See my point?
@@LanDope my question was: WHO in the US buys clothes at Walmart ?? Who ?? I'm not offending anyone at all. I'm just curious to know because as I told you even in Mexico buying clothes at Walmart is seen as low class so it's hard to me to picture Americans buying at Walmart. ( I have never been in the US by the way, so I don't know) and my question is serious
@@danielhennequin7753 Honestly a mix of every class for basic clothing. It wasn't until the last 5 years or so that Walmart started selling more stylish clothes, but growing up people looked down on Walmart as far as clothing goes at least in my experience. Especially when it came to shoes.
I literally went through this experience i bought 2 polos and 2 shorts from Lululemon and paid about $390 and the following week i went to target and saw similar quality shorts and polos for at least 20 bucks each when i paid 135 for 1 polo so no more Lululemon going forward
@@JosecZuniga who buys clothes at Walmart in the US ?? (serious question). I'm Mexican and even here in Mexico buying clothes at Walmart is seen as low class
@@danielhennequin7753 people who aren’t going to spend extra on designer shit when it looks worse. Why shop for something that costs an extra 50-100-200 heck even a thousand dollars if it’s not gonna look any better?
I thoroughly enjoyed this video as I've been impressed with a lot of the clothing at Walmart. Thank you for the emphasis on fit and accessories. Really helps those of us who like to shop on a budget.
You deserve a good walmart sponsorship for this! You look fantastic, and I appreciate that you're showing younger people its not all about labels. Style is about good taste! I like that you asked all types of people to truly gague how the world saw the fit. A lot of us that didnt grow up with silver spoons in our mouths know how to do this because you have to in the world. My mom always taught me whether a dress is $7 or $700 wear it with pride and dignity. Great video man!
There’s this app called “SHIEN” and it’s basically a clothing store that sells clothes that are high quality while maintaining a low price, both men and women, they even sell shoes that look like 3000$ shoes for 30-60$
I been telling people about Walmart clothes for years and they laugh at me. They stepped their game up since I was a kid. The jeans last me years and fit really good (they have levis now) plus $5 tees you cant go wrong. Pair them with Timberlands and a nice watch and your good to go baby!
Great look! I got a Jos A. Bank and an Old Navy sweater similar to what Jose is wearing from GOODWILL for $4 each. Same thing with the button down dress shirts...$4!!! I wore this same type of outfit this winter (with Slim fit Chinos or jeans, Double Monks or Chelseas) and received some nice compliments as well
Usually I just get a nice hoodie and the rest are cheap Uniqlo pieces( I live in Asia so Uniqlo is the best value in terms of affordability and durability)
Jose , I love your all video's and what is so so funny is that that just yesterday, I wanted to go to Wal mart to but a pair of Rustle (brand) mens joggers just for home chill wear, or to throw them on when I need a quick grocery run at 9 or 10 at night, but then you shut me down NOT to buy a pair to of the Rustle brand joggers :>) that made feel bad (lol) plus I do own 4 pairs of tapered Adidas Joggers that I LOVE wearing but I DO NOT want to wear them to workout or sweat in, Id rather workout and sweat in the Walmart Rustle brand then my nice Adidas tapered ones! Keep up the confidence and cool videos!
Jose Zuniga I found your channel just last month and honestly you are my inspiration to change my physic, my style, and my priorities. I’m 22 years old dude who is lean and have somewhat of a built muscle structure around my body (because I work out). I had a gut and love handles on me which is now gone and trying to build a lean muscle body. I got a gym membership from LA Fitness just last month and I can already see great progress around my body. I’m a vegetarian but I eat the right amount of protein, carbs, and fibers for a better good looking lean body every single day. I saw your older videos as well just to see if you have cool advice for me. Which I did and I saw great products for guys who can own. Which means I already bought items sponsored by you (geologie, manscaped, and vitagoods) I’m looking forward for future purchases especially a good looking watch and a pair of ray bans would be nice. But my new overall experience with my current life is fantastic because I needed motivation (especially someone who is older than me) to push me to my limits, give great advice for guys, and how to become more presentable as a human being. I found just that by looking at your channel. Thank you Jose for a great inspiration you’ve been for only the first month of this year, and I will make progress just to change my life around for the better. #TMFfam #
Man!! He nailed it. He has a very good taste of style. He can even make an outfit from Ross look like a $200 outfit. Good job man👍 keep up the good work
Jose can i get details on that red cardigan your wearing in the video it's fire and maybe a video on cardigan types and different style and how to rock it.
My rugged outfits come from walmart. They have some affordable flannels made by dickies and wrangler, I also buy their jackets and coats. My jeans I can get pretty cheap anywhere else and just get em tapered and hemmed for about 15-20 bucks.
I agree with some of this but what is left out is that wal mart sweater looks ok at first but it wont hold up the way a better made one will and you'll be replacing them more often than if you bought quality off the rip
I already have two pairs of Jade Black and I’m loving them. Just ordered myself a pair of Prisms for that blue light protection and to look good in general
I love that i found this. I didn't realize how much weight i put on since last summer apparently about 15lbs, so not only am i making a lifestyle change i have no summer clothes and am going on vacation next week. With a 200.00 budget, weight loss in the near future already lost 4lbs in 1.5 weeks im bypassing my American Eagle, Target, Gap and going to Walmart. I figure I'll shoot to get 6 outfits and 1 bathing suit combo, i might actually go over 20.00 for an extra bathing suit. Sadly I also find my clothes last longer from Walmart and target than the others mentioned, my worst luck being from Marshalls. Thank you Jose you rock
Another thing I suggest is their sweatshirts they’re so warm and stylish plus you can’t tell it’s Walmart I bought one for $12 And yo btw you are such an inspirational figure for me, I like take all your advice and I’m thankful that you exist, cause without you I wouldn’t dress half as good.
I used to buy designer clothes all the time in the UK. However moving to the med it seems wrong now. Might be since most of the year its shorts and t shirt or the fact no one cares what you spend on clothes. I buy alot from Zara and if it lasts a year thats great. A combination of sun and washing clothes alot destroys them no matter what price you pay. Do agree though that a good watch transforms any outfit
