Theres something about a jet engine spooling to life that makes my eyes get wider and wider and then for some reason my face starts hurting because of big and stupid this grin on my face is...
Single stage microturbines sound cool, multi stage axial turbines, that compound resonant sound,, pure sex. like a turbo engine full spool or a nasty 2 stroke on the pipe, a frantic sound like its on the ragged edge of blowing up. Fucking bad ass
Because its ancestor, the Su-27 was one of the first to have targeting systems that could independently paint four targets at the same time. I have no doubt the Su-30 is even more advanced. They're still among the best in the world for air combat, and I can believe that a jet like this would "speak" to him. Through quirks of flight, sounds and data. I personally think every manufacturer of vehicles, whether planes, ships, cars, trucks or helicopters has a "machine code." In they way they're assembled, in the way they perform, and in the "clues" they give you when it comes to how they behave. Each model adds "words" to the machine code, each individual adds "slang" to it
Zastanawiam się jaki geniusz fizyki i IT opracował technikę obsługi tych wszystkich powierzchni sterowych i kierowanego wektora ciągu w jedno logiczne sterowanie tej bestii...? Szacunek...
i likes the thrust vectoring nozzles, wondering if the US made a mistake not implementing it. They did a lot of testing with it so they must of figured it wasn't worth it. Looks great at the airshows.
@@jakobhedelin7129 You're absolutely right on F-22, it does has 2 dimensional vectoring. F-35 does not have thrust vectoring for maneuvering but can point nozzle downwards for VTOL/STVOL on the B model. I probably should have stated "on more platforms". Look up Fluidic Thrust Vectoring (FTV), that has some interesting possibilities.
thrust vectoring does not make it the best, this thing actually has a 20 sq meter radar cross section which in 2016 is just laughable, it's detectable by any western radar from 100+ miles which makes all it's advantages in maneuvering useless. For comparison, F-16C has a RCS of 1.2 square meters, F-18 around 1 sq meter, Eurofighter Typhoon 0.5 sq meters, F-35 has an RCS of 0.005 sq meters and F-22 0.0001 square meter.
Don't you just Hate it when you're at a motorsports event and some tool insists on playing the local radio stations music while you're enjoying the 'atmosphere'.
Other than the F18, in my opinion this is the best looking fighter aircraft ever produced. Anyone know why the left engine is advancing/retarding quicker than the right? Is it because he was trying to taxi right?
This aircraft need external power to start up?? All the start up time is edited..... it looks slow to start up and with the canopy in the up position, it goes to show that the ECS system on this aircraft is very low at idle power.
No matter who you are or what you know about these planes... You gotta love how the thrust vectoring makes the nozzles looks like an absolutely amazed kid looking around
Robert F. Kuszewski If you only knew HOW right you are! You see, them bastards get paid by the word, so, they try to squeeze the living hellllllll into whatever time they have for each announcement. That is the reason...
@@rustymotor Actually, there is a lil Green man..a Composer?? sitting in EVERY Air Show Announcers Ass..who churns out wonderful melodies and BLA BLA....BLA BLA is a new King Emperor of Rap..VELLY velly hot..velly good.
@@yamcha8309 Of course it has higher operating cost, Bae hawk is a single turbofan and the F18 f404-ge is on 10,500-19,000 lbf (47-85 kN) class, meanwhile the Su-30MKM Engine produced 123 kN (27,700 lbf), also the 30MKM has 9.400kg fuel capacity meanwhile the f18 only have half of it, they're on different class, don't even compare.
@@yamcha8309 are you dumb have you seen the speed of F18? It is even slower than Tejas. Sukhoi 30MKI has more payload capacity and better speed and also it has thrust vectoring engines and canards making it extremely manuverable. It is better than that crappy F 18. Well by the way you lost your bet.
i just want to hear a Russian fighter jet start without any outside noise or cut off to when it's already started. that's all i want! especially the flankers!
Lee Butterworth They are indeed amazing. Makes you wonder why they've not been copied on western designs... Yes, I know about the F22 and F35, but neither of them has equivalent motion
Wow! That thing’s a beast! I love the way the exhaust can dilate and be directed, and the elevators which seem to be able to move independently of each other. There’s some engineering gone into that. Great video.
Mike Easterbrook Yeah Baby, the Russians always pirate the very finest American aeronautical engineering 😆 Anyone else notice the uncanny resemblance to our own FA-18 Hornet? SMH
Thanks to the SU-37 and SU-47 contributions, the SU-30 series, SU-35 and even PAK-FA had acquired full potential to do more agility and advance long/close combat systems.
It's been a few years since I have kept up with military aviation hardware.... i don't know specs any more, but that is one sexy looking jet. The whole front fuselage looks like head and thorax of a cicada killer wasp.
Alien 👽 tech....new version L pipe more simplify....the oldest version like you play piano...and maintenance quite high.... -:korang lubang kunci rumah....kau tengok siput turbo... engine ni boleh convert dapat tak?...so dia akan relocate bawah sikit...dia buat drift dan pilot korang boleh termuntah...tak tahu berapa G ntah...Nabi korang tak suka aku masuk campur barang malaikat....so aku taknak comments banyak...kau tengok bajak punya neck tu...bajak yang boleh pusing2 tu...
Pretty funny if you think about it - engines are taking like 70% of whole aircraft volume. Basically fighter airplane is 2 engines strapped together by flat triangle like aluminium wing, with high tech cockpit big enough to fit a one or two pilots.
