Well Steven's mom is pink diamond She faked her own shattering Because at first she wanted a colony so the other diamonds gave her earth but then she saw the beauty of earth and wanted to stop the Colony because the injector used to create gems kills the life around it. But the other diamonds wouldn't let her stop the Colony and told her to finish what she started. So she decided to become rose quartz She was gonna scare every gem off earth but then she saw garnet's fusion and her mind changed and she wanted to live in earth with her friends and while being Rose Quartz she started a rebellion That's where she faked her shattering Then a last attempt to wipe out the rebellion all 3 diamonds blasted earth but rose used her shield. The other gems that got hit by the attack are the corrupted gems (That's not really the order of the story but that's what happened)

@@Thenielll wait i think i know the whole story now my first thought is : i saw i video that showed me when rose shattered pink Dimond , rose was actually pearl but dressed up as rose , and pink Dimond was rose that dressed up as pink Dimond , but pearl didn't know that pink Dimond was rose so she shattered the fake pink Dimond that was rose, and know everyone thinks that rose shattered pink Dimond but she actually didn't , okay this is it , but where is the real pink Dimond ? did she disappear or what ?? here is my second thought : maybe rose(pearl) shattered the real pink Dimond , but then where is the real rose ? did she disappear ?? sorry my explanation is very complicated but i hope u understood me
