My dearest Ara, I took entirely TOO long to write you a proper comment on this video. 😭 Please forgive me!! Even though it’s been a long time, this video hasn’t left my mind and I couldn’t possibly miss leaving a proper comment to celebrate this historic moment!! 😲 I lost count of how many times I watched this video (I still watch it nowadays, whenever I need your warm, caring vibes). 💗 It was just amazing! All the other scenes that you put in, from the journal to the pop up store and the burger place, all fit in perfectly! It really made me feel like I spent all these days with you. 🥰 I know that’s kind of the point of a “week in my life” video, but I think it’s one thing to just show your week, but something else entirely to actually make someone feel like they’re experiencing the week with you. And you created that feeling perfectly!! 😍🥰💞 There is so much beauty to take in, even though I’m writing this much later, I still don’t know where to begin!! 😭💖 I love that you used the wrapping paper as a background as you unboxed everything! It looks so beautiful on your table, with the warm sunlight! And the way you displayed everything on the table, I really couldn’t believe my eyes! I asked myself, is this really what I sent Ara? How come it looks so beautiful?? 😂 Ara, do you know the story of Midas? Whatever he touches turns to gold, so in English we say that someone has the “Midas touch” when everything they do is perfect. I think this is the perfect way to describe it! As soon as you touched the package, it became absolutely beautiful. 😍✨ Not like gold, because it is quite cheap in my country…but diamonds! Actually, this reminds me! Is there some sort of issue with gold in Korea? When I was sending your package at the post office, they asked me where it was going, and then asked if there is gold inside. I didn’t know if it’s because Korea has strict rules about gold, or because they saw the packing and wondered if I’m sending you jewelry…but I was a bit confused. 🤣 As usual, I wrote a very long story about just one scene…🙈 this is going to split into multiple comments again because of how long it’ll be! 😅 You said you can feel my consideration for you, but I could actually feel your consideration for me in that moment, and throughout the video! The way you gently and carefully opened the package at 0:46 really felt like you were gently opening my heart 🥰 (in a good way, haha) and when you were showing the penpal guide, you even carefully hid the part with my stories! It’s so heartwarming and reassuring when someone considers your privacy all by themselves! Thank you so much for protecting me, Ara!! 😭💗 Oh! And I don’t remember if I told you (I have a very bad memory nowadays, it’s really terrible) but I was very excited when I was decorating the cover of the book, because I could apply what I learned from your video! I used your masking tape idea to line the edges of the book, and I love how it turned out! 😇 So you see Ara, when I say that you’re a genius and I learn many things from you, I’m not just saying it to make you feel good, but I actually mean it! You are full of brilliant ideas!😁💞 You guessed correctly when you saw the envelope with the letter! I always label those envelopes in a specific way so my penpals know which one contains the letter! Even though this was my first letter to you, you figured it out immediately! When you said that you would enjoy it alone, my heart felt really warm and comforted. 🥰 I’m not exactly sure why because it’s a very minor thing, but I think the fact that you used the word “enjoy” instead of “read” made it so sentimental. 💖 Somehow I imagined you sitting on the couch and reading it with a warm drink, and it made me feel like I was on the couch actually speaking to you and telling you all these stories. It painted a very comforting picture in my mind! 🥰💞 But I also feel really bad… 😭 Ara, I really wrote too much!! Even though I couldn’t stop, I should have tried my best to keep it short. I’m worried that I overloaded you with too much information. Especially since my comments on your videos are very long (and very late 😅), I feel like it could get very overwhelming for you and add to your work. 😰 Ara, please know that you never have to match whatever I give you. Whether it’s a comment, or a letter, or even things, I never have any expectations! You can reply with a one-page letter, or not reply at all, and it will always be perfectly fine with me! 💖 I also don’t want you to place any expectations on yourself! I know it’s difficult because we are the same way…if someone writes me a long letter or sends me a lot of things, I tell myself that I should at least match it or do more, even if I don’t expect the same thing from them. Ara, let’s be as kind to ourselves as we are to each other! 💞 Let’s not worry about the length, quality or timing of our replies…our hearts and minds will always be connected no matter what so we don’t need to feel obligated to show it in a material way. 😘💖

Now back to the video… 😅 At 2:15, I have to say that I really let out a huge gasp. 😲 ARA!! You know that I’ve had this more many years…but I NEVER REALIZED IT WAS A STICKER!!! 😂🤣 Omg!! I felt so silly! Even though I’m forgetting many things, I do specifically remember picking the edges of the card and trying to figure out if it was a sticker, but nothing happened. So for years, I thought that it was a glossy card…🙈 As soon as I saw your video, I went to check the other one that I have and the sticker peeled off perfectly!!! Omg, Ara with her midas touch again, just turned a card into a sticker!! ✨ That is true magic!! I can’t believe you even taught me something new about an item that I’ve had for years 🤣 Thank you, Ara!! 😘 The “Nargis” postcard at 2:35 is from the same brand as the wax tablet (Forest Essentials). I got it with a purchase many years ago, and you can see that I stuck it on my wall before. 😅 Even though it’s a bit “damaged,” when I was preparing this package, I had to include that postcard because I really felt like it suited your aesthetic perfectly. I thought it might give you some ideas for your pictures as well. ☺️ Most people might find it tacky (and I guess they wouldn’t be wrong), but if I really care about someone, I would immediately want to give them things that I like, especially if I know that it suits them more. Kind of like a pet dog, now that I think about it… 🤣 I really loved watching you gently run your fingers over everything, like the stickers at 3:23 with all the different textures! 😍 Now I finally understand what you meant when you would point them out in my videos. When I watch myself do that, it looks kind of weird but when I see you doing the same thing, it’s so heartwarming and really shows your consideration for everything that I sent you! 💖 The stickers at 3:29 and the packing boxes were 200% Ara as soon as I saw them and one of my all-time favorite purchases! I’m so happy that I had the chance to send them to you because I think they suit you so well! 🥰 I’m also really relieved to hear that these things aren’t easily available in Korea! As you know, I’m a little too obsessed with Korean stationery 😂 so when I look at things that are available here, it doesn’t seem as enticing. Until I talked to you about it, I never realized that there was something special about these differences! You always help me see things in a new light, and I’m so grateful for that. 🙏🏼💖 I’m also very grateful that you opened the bag on camera! I had to resist from opening it up to see what it looked like because I was also curious!! 😂 Now I can see that it’s actually really useful so I think I’ll buy one too! 🙊 I laughed when you said that the package smelled like lemongrass before you even opened it. 😂 The smell is really strong, I love it! I absolutely had to make sure you could smell at least one thing from the India haul, because I just knew that you would love it. 🥰 Have you used it yet? I still have mine (I’m really surprised, it seems to last forever) and I’m always moving it around to see where it fits best. I noticed that it works well in small, closed spaces like the cupboard and drawer, but not so much in a room. Right now it’s in the bathroom 🤣 but it doesn’t give much scent there even if the door is closed so I think I’ll move it back to the cupboard 🙊 I think it’s cute that we both have one part of the pair! Now we’re always connected, even in scent. 😄💞 You know, when I put the “stress relief” card on the packaging for the box, I actually giggled because I felt I was being very clever. 🤭 I thought to myself, “when Ara opens the box and sees all the little things inside, her stress will wash away!” 😂 I think I got a bit too confident and that’s why the sticker ended up stressing you out at 5:50 🙊 But it was such a relatable moment for me since I also ruined your beautiful envelope with the wax seals! (In fact, I was just looking at that envelope yesterday and I heard your voice in my mind telling me that it’s okay and I can rip it apart!) 💖 I love that we even had this coincidence when opening each other’s letters!! Whenever we accidentally spoil something new (for example, one time my dad bought a new laptop and made a small scratch on the screen within a day 😂), my mother always says that it’s a good thing because it removes all the negativity and evil eye. So maybe you had to tear the sticker, and I had to tear the envelope to remove bad vibes from anyone who watches our unboxing and gets a little too jealous. 🙊✨

Even with the masking tape samples, I used your brilliant idea again to make a little tab so that they’re easier to use. And you even liked that I used a gift tag! 🥰 That gave me so much relief, because I’m always afraid that the masking tape would clash with the design on the tag! Ara, you always make me feel better about my choices!! 🥰💗 Also, I love how you dangled the tags at 6:06 to show them! It was like looking at a wind chime or sun catcher, and was a very healing scene. 🥰 Even though I already knew what the lotion smelled like, I was still in suspense as I waited for you to open it and find out if it smells like real roses. 😂 I could even hear you sniffing, it was so cute! 😻 I’m so happy that you enjoyed it! I don’t know if it’s the type of rose or the way that they extract the oil, but all their rose products smell AMAZING. Sometimes, my skin reacts badly to artificial scents. Even if it’s a room spray, if there’s too much artificial scent, my face immediately gets itchy. Somehow, with these products, the scent is strong, but very natural! I really wonder how they do it, and whether we could make our own someday. 🤔 At 7:02, you even stopped to pan across everything and thank me. 😭❤️ That was soo heartwarming! First of all, I couldn’t believe that you actually waited to open all this on camera. And then you even stopped in the middle just to show your gratitude! 😭💗 Only Ara’s heart is big enough to have such a kind consideration. 💖 I can’t compare it to myself at all…I always open a package as soon as I receive it. 😂 And even though I’m seeing it for the second (or third or fourth) time when I’m making a video, I still get too excited to stop!! I should learn to be more mindful like you, it really makes a big difference. 💗 When I saw the envelope for the letter and the mail tag, I was a bit embarrassed because I felt like I didn’t decorate them well. 🥺 But again, at 7:25 you showed your care for me by saying that I’m good at decorating and wrapping. 😭 It’s like you knew exactly what I was thinking and said what I needed to hear to make me feel better! 😩 Thank you for always understanding me and being so kind to me, Ara!! I get so much strength from you! ❤️❤️ When I was looking at the “paper poetry” packaging at 8:01, I knew immediately that I had to send it to you because firstly, it’s in Ara colors, and secondly, I knew you would find a way to use the clear window well! You always play with a lot of layers in your journals and make little windows and flaps, and now you have a readymade window to use in a future journal. 😍 I still remember when you sent me the beautiful picture you took of everything!!! I have it saved on my phone and I look at it from time to time. You took everything that I gave you and arranged it so nicely! 😭 I really don’t know how you do it. I always struggle to arrange all my penpal gifts in a nice way without making it look messy. I still have so much to learn from you, Ara! 🤩 And you even wrote a diary about the package!!! OMG, I was so honored to know that I made it into your beautiful diary, I feel immortal now. 🙈 I wondered what you wrote in the note, so I paused at 11:03 to try and decode it. 😂 All I understood was the date and the smiley faces! But by analyzing the faces and thinking about your gentle heart, I figured that you must have written that you were very surprised and grateful. (In fact, I am the one who is grateful, and you deserve all this and more!!) 😘💗 When you stuck the note under the tag, I was taken aback! Ara, you found such a cute hiding place for the note, and when you flip it, you can read the note and see the photo at the same time! That is just brilliant!! 🤩 And the way you layered the heart memos and actually drew the things that you received 😭 ooomg it really looked like the hearts were floating out of the picture! When I read “and your love,” I literally squealed!! 😩❤️❤️ I’m so, so happy that you felt all the love I sent to you from far away and even found a way to display it!! Oh Ara, I simply cannot get enough of your beautiful mind. 🥰💖 It was so interesting to see you use only items that you received from me, and I learnt a lot about how to journal with penpal packaging! I also don’t like to throw anything away (especially pretty packaging) but because I don’t have much experience with decorating journal entries, I struggle to think of a good way to make a spread. In the end, I have all kinds of ephemera collecting and I never get around to using most of them. 😭 The entry that you made was so helpful for me, because it showed me that you don’t have to plan out every little thing…you can just start with one thing at a time and keep adding more until it all comes together wonderfully! 😍 And you can use the same thing in different ways! Like when you crumpled the paper at 9:52 to make a decorative border, I was so impressed!! 😲 I wondered, how did Ara think of this? And how was she so brave to experiment without knowing how it would turn out? Ara, whenever I see how you bravely try things out without worrying about the end result, I get really inspired and feel more confident to do the same! 🤩💖 I remember you telling me that you got a small printer, and I finally got to see it in this video! It looks really great and so compact!! I think I’ve mentioned before that I really don’t like to have a lot of things because the clutter stresses me out. 😅 For months, I’ve been wondering if I should buy a printer…but the only thing stopping me is knowing that I don’t have the space to store it nicely. Thanks to you, I now know that there’s a little printer that can print photos and stickers beautifully! 😍 When you placed the sticker at 11:49, at first I didn’t notice you trimming the edges and I was like, wait, are these stickers actually cut that way? Did I not realize this either?? 🤣 But then I rewinded the video and realized! The sticker looks so pretty when it’s trimmed, too! I will have to remember this for next time. 😍

If all of this excitement wasn’t enough, you even took us to the stationery pop-up store with you!! 😱 OMG, I loved this part of the video so much. 😍 As you said, it’s very fun to watch and you gave us such clear close-up shots that were not too fast, so we could also look at all the products with you! I have to say, I’ve never been interested in phone grips until I saw the ones made by Korean designers…do I need it? Not at all (maybe it would even be an inconvenience) but is it cute? YES!! 😆🙈 The Manta Box display is so eye-catching! 😍 I wouldn’t be able to leave without buying most of the stickers, so I must really commend your self-control! 💪🏼💗 When I saw the sentimental items at 13:50, I just knew that you would get some of them! It’s totally your style. 🥰 I also expected you to get the one at 14:33 😆 As soon as I saw the drawing of the girl, I was mentally encouraging you to pick that one! Shopping with you was especially fun because I think for the first time, I fully understood your style and correctly guessed most of the things that you were going to select. That makes me really happy because it not only means that we’ve become closer but it also means that I don’t have to worry when deciding what to send you! Speaking of which, Ara, you even used the opportunity to buy a gift for your friend while you were at the pop-up store! 😭💞 That is so kind-hearted of you!! I would be too excited and overwhelmed to think of anyone but myself in such a place 😆 but you carefully browsed and selected a lovely gift for your friend. I’m sure they would love and appreciate it!! ❤️ I still wonder how you manage to draw things so perfectly. 🧐 You even drew a whole outfit!! I did catch a glimpse of your outfit at 14:43 and I was very taken by your skirt! 😍 Actually, I wasn’t sure if it was a skirt or pants, but I was even thinking about it after my surgery, when I had to wear loose clothes. 😂 I also love that you paired the outfit with a blazer because that makes it more formal. So when you journaled about your outfit, it was not only pretty but especially helpful for me because it gave me styling tips for work! 🤩 The stickers that you added to the spread are just beautiful and suited it soo well 😍 I was mesmerized when I saw them sparkling in the close-up at 19:12. 🤩 You chose the best ones from Manta Box, for sure!! And then you ended the video with the love of my life…burgers. 😂 Ooomg it looks amazing 😍 and the fries and milkshake!! Aaaahhh even the little ketchup bowl looks appetizing, and I don’t even like ketchup. 🤣 Did you really finish the burger by yourself, Ara?? Don’t get me wrong, I have a huge appetite so I would do the same 😂 but I wonder how you manage to stay so thin!!
