hii friend stolon develops new niches when older part die while in sucker the lateral branches originate from basal portion. understood now?

See dear... in stolon the lower nodes move down wards to touch the ground to develop roots and grow upwards... But... in suckers the stem is already under the soil so it develops roots and then the plant grows 💕

In stolons, the internodes form obliquely downward facing arches. In runners, the internodes are horizontal.

@@rahi7053 also in runners vegetative propogation can happen from every node [ every node can develop into daughter plant] whereas in stolon daughter plant develops only from terminal bud . Right?
