If you look closely at the conophytums, you'll notice that their surface crinkles when they’re thirsty. And when you water them, the wrinkles spread out and they become plump. As you mentioned, mauganiis have green, orange, and red colors. it's not a single, fixed color but it's a changing spectrum. It changes from green to deep red depending on the amount of light However, it does not exceed the characteristics of the individual.

@@alicekim7757 저는 저면관수대를 가지고 있어 주로 저면으로 물을 주고 있습니다. 제가 코노피튬은 키우는 환경은 통풍이 좋기 때문에 1주일마다 저면을 해주고 있지만 집에서 키우고 계신다면 1주일마다 주면 과습으로 다 죽어 버릴거예요. 물을 저면관수를 해주거나 위로 물을 주는것은 큰차이가 없습니다. 물을 줄때 충분히 주고 화분이 말랐는지 코노피튬이 물이 부족한지 등을 관찰해보면서 주시는 방법이 좋아요.. 기계적으로 일주일마다 3일마다 주는것은 식물을 죽이는 방법입니다. 충분히 관수를 해주고 난다음 계속 관찰해 보시면 관수 주기를 알게 될거에요 ^^ 마른 화분과 물을 주고난 후 화분을 들어 보시면 무게차이가있습니다. 이 무게 느낌으로 물주는 시기를 파악 할수도 있습니다.
