You know what I discovered whilst re-watching the old seasons again. In the old seasons it wasn't always the main characters that fought others but it was cool to see episodes with unique and different fights between people that we wouldn't normally see. Now it's seems that we see new characters fight but it's only against try 3 members not anyone out side of the 3. I love all seasons and I'm not giving hate, I'm just saying that I want those random fights back so we can see how people like Taiyo (haven't spelt that right sorry) vs Ibuki match up (obviously we know who would win) but it would make such a huge difference. You know just a fresh change from the 3 clans that see the most play and are starting to get boring.

I love they brought Vanguard back to how it used to be. They show effects, power ups, and triggers. It explains the battlefield and i love it

Kai topdecks a grade 3 and then pulls double critical and nobody bats an eye. Chrono topdecks a grade 3 and then pulls one critical and everybody loses their minds.

Returning to this series after rewatching legion, when i heard seek the mate I started to get really excited. Legion for whatever reason was my favorite season

The difference between Kai and Chrono double critting is that Kai didn't need the double crit to win, shion was at 5 any other 2 triggers would of done fine.Especially, since Shion didn't heal. Chrono on the other hand flat out won because of the double crit vs Daigo and Ibuki.

Seriously Kai brought back aichi from psych quails that aichi almost lost himself to. Also he is a great circuit champion as well as a vf high school champion too! Plus he returned aichi from when he was locked away by the seals made by the quatre knights and be broke aichi fee of the power of the reverse too!!!

Hehe, I love it how Am noticed Shion right away before looking up. Also how she manage to get some alone time together even though it were brief, and how she was the first person to clap for Shion after his intense fight. Funny thing is though, if Shion had used Fragment for Dusty instead of Kaiser on its re-stand, then Kai would've had to use Deathscythe to intercept, meaning he would've had a much weaker line going into his turn. Shion messed up his final turn and proceeded to be punished for it. And its good to see Kai using Narukami and NOT losing with it for once. Next up is Ibuki showing off the new shiny Messiah's we've all been using for a solid month now and losing to Plot Armour Shindou... AGAIN

The fact the branch chief as playing the Vanguard Online game, makes me wish they would revist it the idea for people to play all around the world via online.

Honestly looking back at this, Shion should have attack Dusty Plasma or Deathscythe with Knight of Fragment, and then attack vanguard with Techgal wiht extra crit, which coulda taken out intercept and reduced Kai's counterblast. But, it still wouldn't have changed the outcome since Kai had three 10000k shield and another intercept. Edit: actually Shion could have survived since Deathscythe was out of the picture with no card in hand and no 54000k attack, whatever, bad play on his part.

Honestly it's nice to see the old characters winning and not have the new characters just luck sack their way to a victory but if they were to do this, they could have done it right. Quite a few misplays in this episode. The biggest one being Shions Altimile stride turn where he got a stand and seemed to give the power to Fragment instead of Techgal.This in itself was already wrong as what he should have done was give the power to Techgal and just stand Fragment because Kai was at 4 damage and the attack that actually needed to get through was Techgals with the crit. Also, even with him misplaying and giving Fragment the power boost, it would have been the right move to attack Kai's intercept instead of dealing 1 more damage with Fragment because it wouldn't have presented him with a win and in the circumstances that Kai got a damage trigger on his 5th check, would have made it easier to guard. If Shion had played it correctly then he would have stood Fragment but given the power to Techgal, then attack one of Kai's intercepts with Fragment leaving Kai with 30k shield in the 3 10k shields in his hand and only a 5k intercept left against Techgals 47k and 2 crit with the extra 5000 that should have been given to Techgal from the stand trigger rather then Fragment. I really do wish they would consult players that have a deeper analysis of the game. If they wanted certain players to win, they should do it right without any misplays. They always end up doing this.

I love the narukami clan. Not a huge fan of Warning's design but then again not every cool/strong unit needs to be visually appealing. :D

I enjoyed the call out to the Robos on CFO. Let's me know that they will he there delegating all the justice! in theory, Ibuki is a part of the Star Gate since he is Link Joker... so I will give it a pass... but they better find a way to let Kenji shine for an ep! lol... I am biased... they may never appear this series. I will keep on believing, though.

I think that shouldve been Shion's game. Kai guarded altmile stride with his whole hand so he mustve topdecked a stride enabler or a g3 and he already had one in his damage zone.

Honestly, this was much better than both earlier and later fights in G. The show starts off by speeding through fights too much and later on suffers from similar issues in glossing over new cards.

How many times are the characters going to top deck a Grade 3/Stride Enabler FTW? I swear, Bushiroad is more liberal with that then they were with Miracle Heals in the first two seasons of the original series, and Aichi beat both Ren AND Leon via Miracle Heal.

Kai... About time you broke the 50000 mark!!! Two YuGiOh Franchises, and two HATED ones at that broke this mark!! YuGiOh Gx broke this with Final Fusion doing 57,800 damage to Jaden and Zane! YuGiOh ZeXaL did this with the Duel involving the main villain. One of the XYZ Monsters had 100,000 points!!! How can Vanguard, where it's easily in the 30000 range multiple times and over 40000 about half-a-dozen times NEVER get over 50000 when TWO HATED YuGiOh Franchises did this, and in epic matchups too!!! Kai... You should have done this before now!! Just saying!!
