willipinch All he did was copy from the Essential Mix FB page that lists the tracklisting for each mix. facebook.com/notes/essential-mix/sub-focus-essential-mix-tracklisting-25th-april-2009/72513582223
Саня Разум Oh fuck haters! You gave us the playlist and the people only know methods to are disagree... Peter Toledo, This playlist is a copy, of course! And where is the matter??? Because the url are unavailable, now it's better have a copy the playlist here...
So many essential mixes from around this time are just the best ever - Nero, this one, Zeds Dead, the list goes on. I've been rediscovering all these old mixes I loved so much back in the day and I still love them just as much. Reminds me of another life, for better or worse.
the link to the tracklist isn't working :( loving the mix though. Nothing like epic 2 hour DnB mixes to get you through hours of exam study and assignment all-nighters!
Cuando empecé a escuchar drunmbass fue por el midnight club edition dub pero cuando conocí a sub Focus exactamente con este mix supe que era un gran DJ y que podría ser mejor que Tiesto y muchos más de la cima
4:50 is Sub Focus - Timewarp, the track in the mix that fully cuts in at 8:00 Ed Rush & Optical - Chubrub. The tune that gets mixed into THAT is Switch - A Bit Patchy (Sub Focus Remix). Happy DnBing ;-)
@jdimmock1 Hey I hear you man. I'm personally more into experimental stuff by the likes of Amon Tobin, Noisia and Venetian Snares (not strictly dnb, but I'm sure you get the idea). But like I originally, this Sub Focus EM is still on a feel-good level the best DJ mix I've heard: great for dancing, cleaning the house, making mad love to, essay writing and whatnots :)
best version of "In For the Kill" I've ever heard anyone know who did it? the Skrillex version holds a special place in my heart just because of some very distinct memories, but needless to say pretty much any decent DnB is gonna knock a Skrillex mix on its ass :P
@jdimmock1 You have a problem with someone claiming drum and bass being seriously taken music? Don't get me wrong, I'm into experimental meat, world beat multi-instrumentalism, post-modern movie compositions, Franks Zappa and even some fricking CLASSICAL music, but ain't nothing like some good old dnb to move your feet on the dance floor! And thank you, I AM quite young (and good-looking too!), not too uneducated though, just wrapped up my bachelor's thesis last summer!
Same with Dan Fresh... Both such inventive producers at the beginning. It's interesting to hear their take on other genres of music, so long as it doesn't turn into that commercial chart crap...
Skrillex is amazing. Try listening to his reall tunes and not looking at what people write about him so that you can then write the same shit on a different video.
I remember looking for it at the time for ages, I think I found out it was the tail end of a VIP version of madhouse by chase and status made for the mix and livesets. as both C+S and Subfocus were on Andy Cs Ram label. Don't quote my foggy memory on that though!
