Dear Ara Unnie, I just want to thank you for your satisfying videos and how you inspired me. Frankly speaking, I didn’t like journaling earlier, thinking it was a tough job. But after watching your videos, you became my inspiration or a role model for creativity, which led me to take journaling as a hobby. And seriously, it has helped me a lot. Your videos always bring joy to my day. There's much I journal about my daily life as same as the next unless I make it worth and love go on art academy course. Watercolours are most challenging medium to use as I prefer Acrylics but watercolour style is best for layering colour. Lunar New Year, I had Sticky sweet New Year cake with turnip cake and had special meal with my family. I love your journaling pages.

아라님 안녕하세요~ 이번 영상에서는 꼭 입고계신 옷과 같은 색감의 종이들로 다꾸 하고 계시네요🥰🥰 저는 이번 설에 할머니가 끓여주신 떡국을 먹고, 다함께 전을 부쳤어요! 코로나로 방문하는 친인척들이 없었는데도 전의 가짓수는 예년과 달라질 것 없이 그대로라 우리 가짓수 좀 줄이자~ 하고 종알종알 푸념을 늘어놓았던 기억이 나네요. 정말 하루빨리 이전의 명절이 돌아와야 할텐데 말이에요. 주변에도 가족을 보러 가지 못했다는 사람이 많아 안타까웠어요😢😢 앗, 스티커 도안중에 칼선따라 떼면 붙이고 싶은 크기보다 작아져서 결국 오려서 쓴 적이 있는데 아라님도 그러셨군요ㅎㅎ 조심조심 떼어서 깔끔하게 붙이고 나면 그게 뭐라고 작은 뿌듯함이 드는게 다꾸의 소소한 재미에요. 어디더라, 브랜드는 기억이 나질 않지만 미니약과를 사탕처럼 하나씩 포장해서 파는 상품이 있었는데 저는 그걸 참 좋아해서 종종 사먹어요. 큼직한 약과보다 기름짐이 덜한 것 같기도 하고, 한입에 쏙 들어가니 부담이 없어 참 좋아요. 문제는 생각없이 먹다보면 포장지가 수북히 쌓여 놀라게 된다는 거에요ㅎㅎ 이번 영상에서도 소소하게 공통점을 찾아 기쁘네요! 아직은 춥지만 곧 다가올 봄을 생각하니 마음이 녹는것 같기도 해요. 따듯한 봄이 올 때까지 건강 조심하시고, 이번 영상도 즐겁게 봤습니다 감사해요💛❤️💛

Hi Ara🧸💐, I'm happy to see you got to spend a peaceful Seollal with your husband, Chu Chu and Coco- even though you weren't able to go back to your hometown. I hope you can spend Chuseok with your parents this year! The lunar new year made me think of quite a few things I haven't seen or done in a while. Some good, some not so good: I watched a vlog, and the people in it went to a place near my late grandpa's beach house.🏖 Actually quite a bit of my family lives near there... Hmm🧐, I haven't been to Jeju, but whenever I see pictures or vlogs of Jeju, it reminds me of the area near my late grandpa's beach house. I haven't been there in a long time, even though my Mum is part owner of the house now.😔😓 Unfortunately, there are still travel risks with Covid and there were also a lot of bad storms recently. I have so many fun memories at the beach house that we have been going to during the holidays since I was very small. My grandparents even named the house after me since I was their first grandchild. It's a good place to go if you want to clear your mind. 🌊🎣🏊‍♀️⛱ A bad experience I had this week that I didn't have for a long time was being stuck in a terrible traffic jam. 🚗🚐🚛🚚🚙🚗🚙🚚🚛🚙🚗🚗🚙🚛🚙🚙🚗🚙🚚🚛🚛🚛🚙🚗🚗🚐🚌🚗I was in a traffic jam yesterday for more than an hour for a journey that normally only takes me ten minutes.🥴😱😵 It made me think more about what I want and don't want in life. But I'm proud of myself for my patience. 😬 A great thing about holiday events though, is that we get lots of pictures around us to cut out and put in our journals. For this lunar new year I found a really beautiful illustration of a tiger🐯 in the newspaper and cut it out. I highlighted it with gold pen and used it as my background. The hongsi with cream cheese looks very interesting. I'd really like to try it one day😋. My late Dad used to dry persimmon, but I never liked to eat it because it took too long. I didn't like to wait so much, and by the time it was ready, I wouldn't want to eat it.😅😅😅 Once again I have tell you your illustrations are so cute. One day, if you make a stationery brand, you must make stickers of your cute drawings! Today, at the shops, I saw a Korean brand of watercolour: Mungyo🎨. Have you tried their paint or have you heard reviews about them? I've been wanting a pastel colour set, and I liked the colours they had. They were also a better price than the brand I usually usually use. It was also great to see a Korean🇰🇷 art brand in my local store, since we usually only see electronics and sometimes skincare. Thank you for your vlog this week: You inspired me to journal tonight📖🖋🖌🖍. I was feeling so tired ( I felt like my soul left me yesterday in the traffic jam!👻), and didn't know what kind of spread to make.
