It still works. Streamer bot got rid of the Twitch events tab. You have to make an action, on the triggers add twitch follow or sub, and under the sub action have it use the printer function that you imported. This is a simplistic answer but I can go more in-depth if someone wants to add the printer. My stream loves it.

Nutty I am going nuts here. I followed everything. Heck taught myself so much in the process but the test wont work. I know this is an old video and had to find the test trigger in the new version. Just wanted to say I would have been a million times more lost without your videos. I am sure I will get it. Thank you again for posting these things and helping other creators out.

I test the same Epson printer and found EXTRA Feature!!! the printer buffer can store the pictures (any) and for example after the alert it can fast print the Dollar Bill (pic can be stored inside the printer memory) so now i have my own ATM :))) BTW thanks to DJ TEO!

Hi! i have just bought the thermal printer (80mm paper), set up everything as shown on video, but nothing happen if i try to test the action (streamerbot 0.2.1 is a little bit different but I think i have done everything correctly). P.S.: the printer is working fine, I can print any TXT documents
I followed the video exactly but cannot get anything to print (have only tried "test" but for several actions.) Has anyone had this issue and resolved it? If so, could you please share how? Thank you
Just decided to set this up as i have a thermal printer, but the "events" tab under twitch no longer shows up ( i assume its because the software may have updated since this video)
I'm trying to make the random cat work but I'm not sure how to set up it up. I thought I could it up so viewer has to type something in chat and then it searches and spits out a random image based on what is inputted but that does not work so I'm not sure what I'm missing.
Only thing i don't get with the printer in whole is why it won't print with anything BUT A6 listed as printer size. i wanted to print onto labels so that i could put them in a sticker book. but A6 is WAY to long (when doing a normal 4x6 label it does 2 labels) and most things can fit on a 4x2 label. but i can't change that information with out it refusing to print after the change
Hi Nutty. Im having some issues with this. Im setting it up. It works for a couple of days. Then suddenly it stops working. I can print something over windows, but the actions in streamerbot dont print anything. I dont know whats wrong

im follow the video but they changed streamer bot a little bit so i cant follow those steps now. do you have some steps with the new update with streambot

Does this work with RU-vid subs? If someone could figure it out that would be awesome so it would be able to print out highlighted messages and you can keep track of all your subs that would be cool as hell
Hey Nutty, I got the printer and followed everything but its not working, I am pretty tech savy but the software looks a little different now then in the video, im curious if something has changed slightly since the release of this video. I even joined the discord looking for help. Hope to see a small update to this for the fix. I really want the fortune piece to work with channel points. thanks for any help offered. Cheers!
I was in nuttys chat today and he told me to add a twitch trigger in streamer bot as the events tab no longer exists for the event you want to print out 👍 used it today and it works like a charm! Streamer bot has for sure become a little easier to do a lot of things 😮 loving it!

@@user-mo3bk6wv6l follow his instructions to the t except for the part when he goes into the event triggers tab, that section is above sub actions under the actions tab now. In your actions select [SP] print twitch events and on the right under triggers right click and add the twitch triggers you want.
@Old_Maple Ok I followed everything down to a T but got kinda confused on what to change next since there is no events tab. I see the Sub Actions section and the triggers section but what do you add again to make it work?

Do you know why this will not print anything? I have tried two different PCs with two different printers. Followed the process step by step and I can not get anything to print on the printers.

I have no idea how I........ me--- Of all people actually got this printer to work. I have really no knowledge of coding and I am trying my very hardest to wrap my brain around all of this. Is there anyone that can teach me how to make the random cat generator work? I think I may have messed up the code on accident when I was trying to add stuff.
Thanks for another fun video, Nutty! I hope you'll recover from your eczema soon! It is a fun idea, but I do wonder about environmental issues. Sure, the printer doesn't ink, but it still uses paper and electricity (if you don't have solar panels). Do these print rolls come in compostable paper versions? Or at least made from recycled paper? If so, I might think about it.

I've been having health problems for two months. Also, I try to make content that's relevant far into the future. I don't typically cover software updates unless there's something about it the excites me.
You might have a point there. 🤔 Do the paper rolls for these kind of printers come in a version reused paper (or whatever you call it)? Or compostable paper?
A couple people printing some silly receipts for fun is not going to harm the planet in any meaningful way. You produce far more pollution simply driving your car to the grocery store. Let people have a little fun.
depends on how you use it. You can set treshholds so not every single bit / sub is printed (especially if you are a bigger streamer). I for example put all prints in a logbook, which also contains other notes or drawings from conventions etc. As soon as the book will be full, I will make a giveaway for it. It already contains information about viewers and the stream from over a Year and everyone likes to look into it, when I am at an event (and everyone is scared to have to draw into it, but it is still fun). It becomes a memorabilia or diary and this way I wouldnt say it is per se a waste. Others I have seen use it solely for commisions, so they have in fact a receipt what to do next.
