I used to listen to this like 5 years ago, and i was having a very rough time. This song helped me express my fellings. It is beautiful. Now it brings me very precious memories that i wasn't able to see at that moment. :)
You know that Nitro Fun was like 15 or 16 when he got into Monstercat right. I'm not sure bur I think that WRLD was also pretty young when he made his Debut on Monstercat
here the Lyrics: I wake up looking in the mirror Wondering who is looking back I'm so lost with my self I just can't understand I say one thing and then do another My life is set without a plan If only I could live for the future Instead of living in the now Let's go back, and try and do it right Who said we can't? Let's make the time to work it out I know, that I can do it better With the help from someone that knows Just what went wrong Let's start again Let's start again Let's start again My innocence has left me blind (Blind from what is right) And now I've fallen in a state of mind If only this is something I can fight I try my best thing to put things right But it's easier said than done I need to reconstruct my mind Start again and put the pieces back to one Let's go back, and try and do it right Who said we can't? Let's make the time to work it out I know, that I can do it better With the help from someone that knows Just what went wrong Let's start again Let's start again Let's start again
Interesting fact from the MA Dubstep comments; Sub.Sound originally sent this to Monstercat, but they refused it because it sounded too much like Fox Stevenson. And, I mean, it's definitely a very similar style. Good, though.
"they refused it because it sounded too much like Fox Stevenson" when and where did they say that. I feel like you're lying just to sympathize with sub sound cause i highly doubt they would put that as their legitimate reason.
>0.39 "let's start again..." calm and stuff ... >1.44 "let's start again" >THE drop ... >2.32 the guitar ... >the piano at the end To me that music is one of the best EDM i've heard with Monstaz- Popcorn Funk and Shawn Wasabi- Pizza Rolls This is undeniable that Sub.Sound did a really good work there
I discovered this song shortly after it was released and I still connect with it on an emotional level. It means a lot to me and even though the heavy drop kinda killed the vibe of the verses and vocals, the theme of the song is personally relatable and I'm glad this has amassed over 2 million views total across multiple platform.
An unforgettable song whose lyrics helped helped encourage us to keep keeping on. Sub.Sound remains on the most best and underrated edm artists still to this date.
Me at beginning of song: Hmmm, it's okay. I like that background though, which anime is that? I think I've seen screenshots of it. I probably need to watch it..." Me when out of NOWHERE the bass drops: OH MY WHAT?! WHAT IS THIS? I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS!
I think that the lyrics are referencing the speaker, and not another person. I've listened to this song a ton over the last two weeks, and I just realized that it's more of a song of personal redemption and perseverance than a song of forgiving another person. It's really kind of beautiful to hear it in that new way.
Zikey Z But for an inexperienced ear like ours it's similar. If know a lot about music then you'll realise it's not closely the same. Fuck it, sounds like him, PERIOD.
Zikey Z I wasn't accusing Sub.Sound for copying in any moment. I only said this song sounds similar, like when I realised that Stan SB is Fox Stevenson.
Jaws ClasherYT yuuuuuup same here lol may do a animation dance video to this .... btw the shield video to this song had me in years like....legit!! I had a feeling they'd try and reunite them again but for some reason I have. afeeling they won't be as dominant as they was when they was doing good
It’s crazy I used to listen to this song when I was like 10 and in 5th and 6th grade, the nostalgia is crazy, I remember playing destiny to this game all the time, I’m not into this kind of music anymore as much but this song I always find myself going back to 🖤much love for this song
