haha first of all. people hate miguel it's because he seems so fishy. while he's entire existence is already a bias on tokoha's character development. known him for 2 days and when he died she emo for 1 week. tokoha's character wasn't like this + no one is such a drama queen reacting like this on people they know for 2 days. while it's true people hate him for trying to ruin chrono x tokoha, the main reason is miguel's existence feels forced into the plot just to make tokoha enter u20. and even if miguel ever comes back, tokoha will feel so cheated that she wasted her 1 week mourning for him. unless bushiroad plans to make him another vector. a sadistic villain with hollywood acting skills. then that would make sense. but as for me, i dislike him mostly due to the first reason, ruining tokoha's character. but then as a chrono x tokoha shipper i dislike him for trying to ruin it too. so yea either way, miguel is a crappy character and miguel x tokoha will never happen because he's dead + if he ever comes back, faking death is a bad lie and every girls hates lies so your ship will be still ruined for good. miguel is just a stepping stone for a plot. he has done his part therefore he has to go till the plot needs him again which i highly doubt he's coming back good. he's so gonna be another antagonist for chrono to kick. after getting stepped by tokoha to move foward. he's gonna get stepped again and get discarded when the plot doesn't need him. so the best thing is he stay dead and become flashbacks so the plot won't get worse. it's because if he comes back, its very high possibilities of being evil (because coming back good is too weird, faking death is already bad.) and the already super less percentage of people who like him will hate him too. he's currently should be vanguard's top hated character due to being a crappy character that are forced in just to make the plot move while trying to ruin chrono x tokoha ship

Well, some people hate him due to the fact that he's such a fishy character. I was kind of okay with him being Tokoha's boyfriend. I kind of wanted Chrono to go with someone else. But Miguel is really a suspicious character. He suddenly appears and becomes friends with Tokoha, then talks on the phone with a mysterious person moments before he went outside to die. Not to mention he also had a Neo Nector symbol on his hand. He is just too much of a mystery to like right away. His suspicious character will most definitely reveal him into being a villain later on. I have a hunch that he was ordered by someone to encounter Tokoha just so he can manipulate her into joining the U20 league. It all just seems so suspicious that every member of Team TRY3 is entering that tournament.
