thank you for this. i got leds to replace the stock bulbs, but trying to get them out was a nightmare. i didn’t even think of something as simple as a screwdriver. i was getting ready to pull the bumper! thanks again.
I moved the battery and popped the windshield solvent tube (it only goes down to the core support) but I had to change the other sidemarker and turn signal bulbs. Great tip on using a screwdriver though. Worked like a charm.
I recommend covering your battery terminals when using metal tools in their proximity. I've made a spark or 2 as the tool slipped and grounded against the pos terminal and body...
Dude, did you really lay a metal screw driver across the top of your battery. Truly digging the LED light. Do you prefer the yellow or white for the C light? Does the headlight drown out either color more?
i prefer amber. THe headlight doesn't drown out either color. There's nothing wrong with laying tools on my battery. It makes a nice tool shelf when working under the hood.
Any light/bulb error on dashboard (bulb-out indication)? Because many cars need CANBus LED bulbs to do not show those errors. What about Subaru Crosstrek? Thank you very much!
