Practicality? Doesn't come with rear cup holders until last 2 trims. No auto lock feature when put in drive, no rear cargo light. No auto light off feature to save battery if you forget to turn lights off. Missing shit that other brands had as a standard for DECADES! reliable? 😂 they're basically the Jeep of Japan. X-mode? Welcome to Toyota's Atrac available since 2003. My wife's 2011 forester is a base model and bare bones base. My 07 Toyota 4runner has more shit and it's also a base model. I have things on an 07, Subaru doesn't get till higher trim level, if at all. I even have fogs, projector headlights, and led taillights. And Subaru barely adding that shit now? They're not bad vehicles, but y'all got to stop over hyping them. They are CROSSOVERS, will always be cross overs. As for cargo space, foresters have the least cargo area (with rear seats up) in their CLASS! dogs love it back there? In that tiny ass cargo area that can't even fit a 20 inch bike? No fucking way our two dogs (one small pit, one lab) will be comfortable or have room back there like the do In my 4runner. Plus rear hatch window goes down too. Poor things would suffocate back there In a forester. Especially since no rear AC vents to pass cold air through on hot days. Practical? Did you mean minimalistic? (other than eyesight and their top of the class awd system, they bring nothing else to the table. Nothing at all) 150hp even WITH a hybrid engine? When Honda is pushing small NA 4cyl with almost 200hp. A hybrid rav4 or CRV is around the 200+ mark. Shit doesn't even use real leather either.
