The fight for the 2001 World Rally Championship came down to the season finale Rally GB, With Richard Burns, Colin McRae, Tommi Makinen and Carlos Sainz all in contention, it was Burns who prevailed, finishing third to secure the WRC title. This is the car (chassis #14, plates X40 SRT/ X7 SRT) Burns drove to victory in New Zealend that year.
