Nice, i have all parts from an RXII in my 85 gl-10, including skirts. its a piece of art. actually Leone RXII are essentially Imprezas predecessor (STI on its time)
Epic, how many Psi of boost? and are you in low because you have taken out the front drive shafts? and are the gearboxes in the RX turbo l series the same as the ones in Non turbo l Series counterparts?
Bought my wife an RX back in 1994. It broke dowm a lot (which forced me to become a good mechanic) but when it ran it was amazing. Around 2001 we sold it to a kid who proceeded to wreck it sideways into an oncoming car, ripping the RX in half at the driver seat. Kid was ejected & died from his injuries. Also killed the woman who he slid into. Very very sad incedent in our small town.
@Shoot me now yeah the newspaper front page large photo of our old RX in two pieces. Only about 5,000 people live around here. Only child, 17 years old & his dad was really into Subaru cars. They had been fixing it up for months until that day. They are pretty fast cars for sure. I feel bad when i see his mom around town.
Yeah the RX isn't speed limited in 4wd. By the way the RX has front wheel drive only mode, 4wheel high, & 4wheel low. They can be tricky to keep working well but they are great fun. I wish my 2015 wrx had a low range option!
From what I understand its a full time 4WD. So it is AWD until you lock the centre differential. Also comes with low range and from reading other comments, it also has a front wheel 2WD mode.
