Damn Subaru is a true FF 7 fan. Knew about Kunsel, she immediately recognized that Sephiroth was acting weird and even her saying it's like Sephiroth is on NG+ is like, the perfect way to describe Sephiroth in this game.

Fun fact: while writing the original draft of FFVII' story, the writers were actually originally planning on having Barrett be the one who gets killed off mid-way through the game. After some consideration, however, they realized that killing Barrett off would be far too similar to past heroic deaths in the series (Tellah, Galuf, General Leo, et al) and that killing off Aerith would have far more of an impact on players.

@@AICW nah that was spoken about during an interview where some of the writers went what if...but went what if we took it further *meme* style. The combat system disaster and fate input is from the directors kingdom hearts broken unusable story line though. The director is a "bit " obsessed with fate and breaking it. It is in every game title he is allowed to stretch his legs. Hence why I would rather recomend the og ff7 as it has the by far better storyline and cheaper to boot thanks to ff7 remake getting cut into episodes.

Damn, 17:41 is really subtle I love it For anyone who doesn't remember, there's a scene of Aerith right after finishing Temple of the Ancients where she's doing hide and seek and running around a forest while talking to Cloud and that scene of her walking away is one of the final scenes you see before heading to the Ancient City/Ancient Forest.

23:45 the popular theory or Atleast of what I hear and like to belive is in Once you finish the og ff7, once the holy is done kicking the shit out of Meteor, the last thing er all see is how aerith is looking at us from the steam, and the first thing we see in the remake is how she looks back into the stream and then gets scared because she can now see the fates. Meaning, the entirety story of ff7 was a vision she got right at this moment, so she knows EVERYTHING but since there were things in og ff7 that made no sense (because of limitation) some things are new to her. But yea, that's the thing I heard and I like believing in it. Or she just read the script and don't like to hear tifa talk. Who knows We do in like 7 month if we lucky

It is hinted that this game is a sequel of Advent Children. Backed by the gang having flashbacks of some scenes from Advent Children, and Sephiroth has the wing already, like in Advent Children. Also, it is said in one of the novels that Sephiroth is able to move around through the Lifestream. So he went back in time to remake history so he doesn't get defeated. Hence the subtitle for this game is "REMAKE", and the next one is "REBIRTH".

In the Ultimania (official guide book), it is explained that the premonition happened because Aerith grabbed Cloud's hand at the beginning of the Remake. Thanks to her being a Cetra, who can communicate with the planet. The planet shows those who has the "power" how the flow of destiny should go. It also said that every person has different levels of resonance, hence only Aerith (Sephiroth as well) can clearly see and understand that she's in a new game plus.

no, she doesn't. I think there are some factors on why Aerith swears in the English dub. As you saw in the video, she said "Uso" which means "No way" or "You're kidding me" in Japanese. The English dub needs a word that not only has a similar nuance and length but also sounds natural when spoken in that situation.
