Way back in the early 90's when we were in Japan as trainees,we were introduced to this song by our sensie we were mesmerized,up to now when I hear this song it evokes various emotions.It seems like only yesterday,how time flies without us noticing.kimochi nga iin desu ne.

i was introduced to this song back in 1991 when i was in Japan for my on-the-job training and immediately fell in love with the song.I am still in 2021 listening to the song.Such a beautiful song.

I'm a Japanese born in Brazil. My grandfather was sent to Brazil alone when he was 11 y.o. He'd struggled a lot but he managed to build a family. Allthough he was so young when he left Japan, he never forgot about his family and the places he used to go. He was happy in Brazil, but when he talked about Japan, you could feel the sadness in his voice. Everyday he used to sing a lot of songs and play the shamisen. Shinji Tanimura and Kyu Sakamoto was among his favorites. I was never really into it, untill now. I'll keep this song as treasure a piece of memory from my beloved Ojiichan
