That caribous' team is quite incredible. Can see the work gone into it. Guess the detail is milliput for hair and tassels which is not easy to work with.

There was 2 continental display editions one late 1960’s and the other one early 1970’s almost exactly the same only difference was the picture on the front walkers were usually in the 60’s edition and h/w moulded in the 70’s another great video

Great work on the Caribou ...I'm just getting back into Subbuteo after a 12 year hiatus ....Being an American , I wanted to get some old NASL teams customized & one of the teams I chose were the Caribou ...1 year team (1978) ...probably the most unique uniform in sports history...but wouldn't want to have had played in one of those , prancing around in buckskin fringe tassels looking quite effeminate 🤣...I was lucky when I played as a winger wore something more acceptable ...green & white stripes like your jersey in the background n black shorts Lol

@@johnbolt806 yeah most box sets have the standard red and blue teams in. One of my first ever teams was a Newcastle United, i still have it.

Great video Calum 👍🏻😁. I think the early premier league box set when released back in 93 had the black printed balls and those goals and then the gold blue logo balls were put in the rereleased version in 95. So the black printed premier league balls could be rare see more of the 95 version box set balls.

@@WestwoodTableSoccer yeah the black version ball ⚽️ does look good 😌, I just got given the premier league accessory box set by my parents for Xmas 95 with the red logo and green logo balls, I’ve just read up on Peter Upton site and he says the black logo balls were in the premier squads game also.

The continental set did not contain a pitch, you had to get the next edition up to have pitch included. The old sets used to contain chalk so you could mark out your own pitch!

Ah I wasn't sure. Didn't think was meant to have one but I do have a set up the loft that has one underneath, must've been added in after the fact. Cheers Michael.

@@WestwoodTableSoccer i may be getting terminology mixed, the one you show in video I think was called display edition and had no pitch and came with walkers and standard goals with white nets. The next set up think was "continental" edition, box was bigger and contained pitch , just seem to re all they used term continental to also describe the 00 figures
