SUBHANAKA - SANA FOR SALAH
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَ بِحَمْدِكَ * وَ تَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَ تَعَالَى جَدُّكَ * وَ جَلَّ ثَنَاؤُكَ * وَ لاَ اِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ
Subhânakallâhumma wa bihamdika wa tabâra kasmuk wa taâlâ jadduka (wa jalla thanâuka) walâ ilâha ghayruk.
Wa jalla thanauk is uttered only in the janazah prayer.
“Glorious You are O Allah, and with Your praise,
and blessed is Your Name,
and exalted is Your majesty,
and none has the right to be worshipped but You.”.
In the first rak'ah of every prayer after the iftitâh takbir. In the sunnah of the afternoon prayer before al-Fatiha when it reaches the third rak'ah. In the first sunnah of the Isha prayer, before the third rak'ah, before the al-Fatiha. When tarawih prayer is performed by greeting all four rak'ahs when the third rak'ah is started before al-Fatiha. During the funeral prayer after the first takbeer.
