Dear Team, please increase the duration of each intetview as in just 25 or 30 mins one cannot get to know/hear in more detail about each of the questions asked about various aspects involved in journey of film maker....... it is always a good learning experience and fascinating to know all these stories hence a longer interview would further make the conversation more enriching & informative
Fantastic video! It’s so refreshing to watch this anchoring….Arbaaz is superb as the interviewer, he always gets nuggets from his guests which are unheard before.
Many have said that Jackie Shroff was a poor actor. But his acting was the best in Subash Ghai films. That shows how good a director Subash Ghai was. Kudos to Jackie Shroff too. Despite of being a poor actor, he is still in the film industry.
right, i don't understand why Subhash Ghai thinks that Jackie Shroff falls under the "bad actor" category. he gave great performances in all Subhash Ghai movies.
Wow! I never thought Arbaaz khan would had this skill of having TV hosting ability, to pose well thought and well researched questions big personalities. Subhash Ghai was one of the biggest directors from the mid 70s till mid the mid 90s. In 80s he was far bigger and successful than Yash Chopra and equal if not better than Manmohan Desai. Really enjoyed that. It’s a shame his planned collaboration with Amitabh in a movie called Devaa shelved due to clash of the titans personally clash. Really enjoyed this show.
Arbaz sir, you are a great host, this was really a great interview, and it was full of advice and learnings for me . I have learnt a lot from Subhash Ji's life lessons.
Subhash sir jaise log ajjki industry mein dekhne ko nahi milte. Har film Subhash ji ki zabardast hoti thi aur ekdum ek alag hi tarike se prastoot ki jati thi.
Comparing film nepotism with lawyer/doctor is comparing apples with oranges. A lawyer/doctor goes through training/exams/assessment from unrelated bodies to get certified in their profession irrespective of their parents qualification. Whereas to get a break to become a hero all one needs is to show up to their dad's friends party. And in the film industry the world over 80% of the challenge is to get the foot in the door. This is the reason people like Irfan Khan struggled for decades while Varun Dhawan became a star.
The last block buster masala director who never took risk played making tried n tested formula films, remakes and his own films remake. Others directors of his generation like Vinod Chopra, Raj Kumar Santoshi, Mani Ratnam Shekhar kapoor n Ram Gopal verma made superior n brilliantly content driven films but they never got limelight like ghai sab. Sad but true People prefer mediocrity mass films over class good films. 🤔
One of my favorite director cum producer. Kalicharan, karz, hero, meri jung then there was a big jump full of commercial movies Karma Ram Lakhan Saudhaghar Khalnayak. Awesome director. These type of comercial directors are missing in Bollywood
Really, Arbaaz, you are such a wonderful host Your voice, your ability to put the subject at ease, your humility, your friendly approach, so glad you are doing this!! Best host ever
Present every one are talking about big canvas and ganduare look. But he was the first person to do that. Simple story but big canvas and granduare look.
Good job, Arbaz. Can you extend the time by ten more minutes. I think the interview proceeds at a faster pace. Can you extend the time and take it forward a little slow? Otherwise, the show is great. I would like to see Gulzar sb in this show, not only as a writer but also as a film maker. His films are among the best in the Indian cinema, in my opinion.
Arbaz bro u are getting better n better.but your videos are little short.n sometimes feel its very short when very good interview like this video.i never miss your show love from nepal kathmandu.thank u n best wishes.
Arbaaz Arbaazu mere dost your show is getting very good reviews from viewers for this show you are presenting in entirely different way comparatively from others You're inviting selective personalities in each episode that is the beauty of the show But the most concern is timing of episode you should increase at least by another 20 minutes maximum, it feels like incomplete interview missing many questions as well many topics. Arbaazu please consider my request as well other viewers, hope you don't disappoint all viewers.
