This is absolutely phenomenal. I cannot express enough thanks for the clarity of this message (and basically everything I hear from Paulson). Thank God for him (and I hereby pronounce that Steven Paulson is forgiven for making fun of Ohio State fans, too).

One of the great joys of this life is listening to such a beautiful theological word.

PAUL, in Galatians 5, says: For the freedom (Τη̑ έλευθερία = THE FREEDOM of justification through faith in Christ, the spiritual freedom of conscience before God), Christ has set us free. Therefore, do not be entangled again in a yoke of (spiritual) bondage (through unbelief). Behold, I, Paul, tell you that if you are circumcised (keep the law for justification), Christ will profit you nothing. And I testify again to every man being circumcised (for justification) that he is a debtor to do the whole law (for justification). You are severed from Christ (deprived of all effect from him), whoever of you would be justified by law; you fell from the grace (from faith). For we, by the Spirit, out of faith, eagerly expect the (certain) hope of righteousness (glorification). (Galatians 5:1-5) ...We were called for freedom, only do not use THE FREEDOM (τήν έλευθερίαν) for an occasion to the flesh, but through THE LOVE (the agape -- τη̑ς ἀγάπης) serve one another. (Gal 5:13 AT); 'the love' is God's love which justified us, Rom. 5:8, 9. -- from The Grace of Christ, Revised Edition). 'The Freedom of The Christian' can be found in Luther's Works Volume 31. It is excellent.
