i just bought this exact webbing. Followed your steps exactly, temp and even cut time to 30 instead of 60. Melted the webbing completely. It shrunk up and is hard as a rock now.
Are you sure that you had polyester webbing and not polypropylene webbing? Polypropylene melts at a much lower temp than the polyester webbing. Also, is your heat press accurate. Mine runs hot and I have to adjust it down. Just a thought.
Omg thank you so much. I have been searching high and low for the material to make my own. the one's that i order cannot sublimate on the entire lanyard leaving white space . so for adults you are saying add 4 inches making it 40 inches instead of 36 right?
@@santoslagunaacademydallasf9395 WOW... They have really gone up in price since I paid for some custom ones many years ago... even then they were pricey... about $6.00 each...
@@dsignsbyaandj6848 What I am confused about is... you said this is 36"... so how does your printer print out 36"... do you splice 2 ... 17" papers together ?
@@leahdax you may be correct. I've never attempted to make a lanyard but if one made a template then every design on either side would be in the exact same location and after adhering the material to one side it would be a matter of matching the two pages. Just a thought.
Hi There, Its a nice hobby as our main work is uniforms and apparel decoration. If I was to sell the lanyards they would be 15.00 Each. Thanks for commenting!
@@santoslagunaacademydallasf9395 Wait... What? The roll is only 24" ... you can't even make ONE Lanyard out of that then... since you're making 36" Lanyards... do you mean 24 FEET?
