Great sound - stout performance! Maybe "Feel Like That" will make a playlist. Pumped to hear new Sublime music AND Jakob's Castle music in the years ahead. Different bands, but with some common DNA.
saw Sublime in Orlando, wish i woulda remembered my hacky sack, such a great time... so happy for Bud and Eric, and Jakob is really finding his place and voice in the band, and digging how much the set list is expanding... hoping to catch them again in Sept
Man this shit was awesome didnt even know they were playing till i was walking down the boardwalk thought it was a cover band at first till i saw em playing ended up chilling with the promoters that night and toked up with them cats
I started listening to Sublime before Bradley died and havent heard this music with the kind of edge he brought until now. It really brings me back to the old 40oz days and that punk rock root. Theres no comparing Rome to Jakob, its not even the same vibe. I feel like many in that this is meant to be, but its not just that its his birthright or destiny but the edge it brings to the music is just so right. Plus the wildness, like Jakob leading a couple hundred people into the ocean. It was crazy...
exactly dude. jakob has some of that energy that brad had. Will it ever be the exact same? no... and thats fine. two diff people... but you feel the energy and love for music in this family. Jakob isnt trying to do some perfect thing, hes paying homage to his dad, and having a great time w bud and eric. He has his own stuff and Honestly his stuff is AWESOME, and his will to please sublime fans with dedication is AWESOME. imagine learning lyrics, guitar, etc of your father that you never got to know... its gotta be quite the emotional journey... I fucking love Jakob for everything hes doing.
@@alexkitner5356 well, this is just a sort of promo with snippets. can't they find some groupies to record their shows and put them on youtube and not take them down... with a wink and nod. There is a massive Sublime archive out there, the estate may have shut it down. I love the vibe but part of me fears the dark path of propriety and commercialization.
