wow, i used to listen to this song from sublime and I knew it was about something Christian but now that I read the Bible.. it's actually straight from Psalm 137 (not king alpha but "songs of the Lord".. amen! awesome band back in teh day.
you know looking back on this stuff after the years gone by i laugh at most of the music and fads and styles of alot of bands etc but sublime stays pure badass respect...

why doesnt miquel have a band that hes the singer in. he sounds great and i know he was in the ziggens as a guitarist but i would like to hear more from the man who basically did everything behind the scenes for sublime.
Well check the real versions out there! They might have rehearsed it once, but strange they leave out the crucial words "the Lord's song" in the chorus. Check Melodians version...
